Wolseley UK, the name behind a plethora of market-leading trading brands, is offering 10 driven graduates places on our all-new Sales Graduate Programme.

We are part of Wolseley PLC, the world』s largest distributer of plumbing and heating products and a leading supplier of construction materials. And with size, comes opportunity.


What』s the Programme about?


You』ll embark on an 18 month scheme that will put you at the heart of our business – in front of our customers. For the first 6 months, we』ll teach you all about our business, how a trade branch operates, who our customers are, and how we give top-grade customer service. All this will help you when it comes to selling our products and services to key customers – it』ll provide you with a base level knowledge and experience.


In the following 12 months, you』ll be out in the field. Learning sales from our professional sales team, as well as through more formal training courses, you』ll develop your sales skills. Here, it』s not about the hard sell, it』s about listening and building relationships. You』ll be hands on, working with customers to identify their needs so we can provide exactly what they are looking for. You』ll also spend time with a range of our major suppliers, understanding their products and how to sell them.

In addition to the placements, to cement your learning you』ll also be given responsibility for commercially focussed project work – we』ll help you develop the business savvy that you』ll need to be a real success and give you the edge.

What』s next?


If your application is successful, we』ll give you a call to find out a bit more about you and if we feel you』d be a great fit for our programme and the business, we』ll invite you to one of our assessment centres in April and May held on the Warwick University campus. But you』ll need to get moving to secure a space.
