Intern – Process Technology Group

We have an opportunity for an intern to join our Process Technology team for a long-term project, to work in our lab supporting wafer level characterisation for test chips. This would suit a recent graduate who is keen to gain hands-on industrial experience and develop their overall knowledge within an IC design environment.

The role

Working within our Process Technology group, while being mentored by one of our Principal Engineers, you will:

Develop automated test routines using automation tools (WXP or NI)

Develop data analysis templates and reports (Spotfire or JMP)

Run simulations using internal scripts and/or Dialog design environment

Prepare test reports with results from wafer level measurements

Undertake general day-to-day lab maintenance

What we are looking for

We seek an Electronics graduate (preferably at MEng level) with knowledge in VLSI and CMOS design, who adopt a consistent, methodical approach to their work. Ideally you will have gained experience during your studies of working within an electronics lab and be familiar with various equipment in these environments.
