I was in China with my extended family way back in "09 when we watched that Brooks" led Rockets team go toe to toe w/ that prime Kobe/Pau Lakers team. It was surreal and after Yao went down, me and many of our family friends who are all really into basketball, we were talking about Brooks for weeks and how he is going to be the next big thing.

It sucks that Brooks didn"t really became a superstar that we all hoped to, but it warms my heart to see such dedicated fans that have not forgotten about him despite his struggles in the past several seasons.

布魯克斯從來沒能成為我們所期待的超級巨星，這真是糟糕。但即使他在過去幾個賽季里一直表現掙扎，卻一直有粉絲們對他堅定地不離不棄，看到這一幕讓我心裡暖暖的。

Recall the good time this 6 feet small guy give to me. Then, i will never watch basketball again. My youth fade away with his retirement."

Damn he actually spent a lot of his time to try to interact with a single fan (and his friend). Aaron Brooks is wholesome and was electric in his prime.

I have a feeling that he thought it would be easy and it would be the same process as how he does it back in the US but maybe the communication wasn"t as good for getting tickets in China.

Quick story on Brooks. He purchased an xbox one from my brother when it was sold out. Then gave him 2 tickets to the game, gave him a signed jersey and met him after the game. Also added him on xbox live. still friends i believe. great guy. this was when he was with the rockets.

ok l qm probably late but l have an aaron brooks related story. When he played at oregon he was dating this girl that was temporarily living at my house and so he came over a couple times for dinner and he is a really cool guy. l am happy to see him have such a surprisingly succesful NBA career
