2017上海城市空間藝術季即將開啟
展覽主題：連接thisCONNECTION——共享未來的公共空間Sharing a Future Public Space

參展人：Alejandro Zaera-Polo、B.I.G、詹姆士·康納 James Corner、張軻、弗朗西斯·凱雷 Francis Kéré、張永和、北川富朗、奧拉維爾·埃利亞松 Olafur Eliasson、勞倫斯·維納 Lawrence Weiner、黃永砯、吳為山、尹秀珍等，近200位國內外知名策展人、建築師、藝術家
展場地址：民生碼頭8萬噸筒倉及周邊開放空間（民生路3號）
開放時間：2017/10/15—2018/1/15，10:30-17:00（周二-周日）16:30停止進入。周一閉館（10月16日、1月1日除外），對公眾免費開放 。
在2017 年的上海城市空間藝術季，通過「連接（thisCONNECTION）」與「斷裂（disCONNECTION）」讀音的相同和雙關，討論在當代城市進程中的公共空間的未來， 如何將各種原因形成的斷裂轉化為連續、開放、可達、舒適的人性化高品質公共空間。
As the main theme of 2017 Shanghai Urban Space Art Season (SUSAS), 「thisConnection」/ 「disConnection」 could be read as each other』s equivoque, through which close attention is paid to the process of contemporary society of Shanghai City and the future of its public space. It concerns the high-quality and user-friendly public space that is composed by multiple sectors, which eventually transformed into a continuous, open, accessible and convenient space.
「thisCONNECTION ：共享未來的公共空間」的提出是上海城市空間中「斷點」轉化的產物和映照，呈現全球優秀濱水與公共空間整治案例，討論上海濱水空間的未來。
「thisCONNECTION」 – sharing a future public space, this phrase reflects the production of all the scattered 「disconnect-ness」 within Shanghai City. We present selected cases of waterfront landscaping and architectures regarding spatial renovation, thus to arouse discussions upon the future of Shanghai waterfront spaces. With the aim of inspiring the potential of Huangpu River Banks as an open space, we intend to produce a platform to elevate its vitalities.
民生碼頭作為濱水空間的一部分，其改造作為具體的案例來呈現如何連接和重整原先斷裂的城市空間，構築開放平台以真正的提升黃浦江兩岸開放空間的潛在價值，以此促成更多有著相似「連接」性的未來公共空間。
Located at Huangpu River waterfront area, Mingsheng Port, as one of the experimental cases, has been regenerated as such platform to display how the open space of Huangpu River can be reconnected and reconstructed, within which more future public spaces sharing the similar quality of 「connection」 can be further generated.
