第九層：油鍋地獄。

第十層：牛坑地獄。

這是一層為畜生申冤的地獄。凡在世之人隨意諸殺牲畜，把你的快樂建立在它們的痛苦上。那麼好，死後打入牛坑地獄。投入坑中，數只野牛襲來，牛角頂，牛蹄踩。

第十一層：石壓地獄。

若在世之人，產下一嬰兒，無論是何原因，如嬰兒天生呆傻，殘疾；或是因重男輕女等原因，將嬰兒溺死，拋棄。這種人死後打入石壓地獄。為一方形大石池，上用繩索吊一與之大小相同的巨石，將人放入池中，用斧砍斷繩索。

第十二層：抽筋地獄。

生前好食動物之筋，如喜歡吃牛筋。又唆使犯罪、令人墮落，均墮此獄。觀此中地獄，罪人被綁煉於鐵車上，筋被拉出，作繩索來拉車，後面又有鬼卒在鞭促、趕打，苦痛號叫盈天 。

第十三層：血池地獄。

凡不尊敬他人，不孝敬父母，不正直，歪門邪道之人，死後將打入血池地獄，投入血池中受苦。

第十四層：削足地獄。

凡生前恃強凌弱，以尊壓卑，刻薄待人。例如刻薄對待下屬令人無立足之地。凡此種種，死後入此削足地獄。

第十五層:吸血地獄。

利用職權盜竊公款、侵佔財物、并吞糧食、如吸血般剝削弱者，死後墮入吸血地獄，任憑鴉蝠吸取身上之血，直至乾涸而死，陰風一吹死而復生，如此生生死死，苦痛至極，直至罪報受盡，又輾轉他獄受罪。

第十六層:火山地獄.

這一層比較廣泛，損公肥私，行賄受賄，偷雞摸狗，搶劫錢財，放火之人，死後將打入火山地獄。被趕入火山之中活燒而不死。另外還有犯戒的和尚，道士。也被趕入火山之中。（這層應該是人滿為患）

第十七層：擊膝地獄。

生前侵吞祖業，捏造是非，製造矛盾與兄弟爭吵，死後墮此獄。今日社會，子女為爭奪財產，反目成仇，比比皆是。子女繼承祖產時，應以感恩的心，將祖德發揚光大才是。

第十八層：剝皮地獄。

墮此獄者，生前多以剝眾生皮為業。例如殺蛇者，常活剝其皮，噬其鮮肉，汲取其鮮血、或鞭撻凌虐眾生，令其皮綻肉開，死後墮落此獄；又噁心欺負凌虐於人，如同剝人衣服，令人痛不可堪，凡此種種，死後墮此剝皮地獄。
