Will they snag the 8th seed if Jokic sustains this level of play? Can he sustain this level of play?

He has also completely changed the nuggets offense. Over the last couple of games, everyone is trying to be Jokic. So many guys making the extra pass in the paint to give up a good shot in favour of a great shot. His play is contagious and I think it is encouraging other players to do the same. The nuggets offense has looked absolutely insane for past few games.

Most big men start an offensive move or a move towards the basket and then finish it, Jokic has the ability to change his mind, pass or dribble out of a bad situation. His dribbling and passing ability mean he isn"t forced into bad shots.

There"s a ton of plays where he"s about to shoot near the rim, his defender is ready for it, so he just dumps it off to a cutter. The center is in the air when the pass is made, so the wing/guard has an easy bucket.

大多數大個子在籃下進攻時都只是1-2個套路動作，然後就出手終結。約基奇具備改變套路的能力，在情況不好時選擇傳球或者運球。他的運球和傳球能力決定了他不會勉強選擇糟糕的出手。

I"ve seen Jokic playing better on defense the last few games. He"s still developing and might eventually be solid on defense. He"ll never be Embiid, but he should be able to develop to the point he"s not a liability. He"s got quick hands and smarts, hopefully he comes around.
