Hey guys I didn"t watch the NBA when TMac was in his prime and I was wondering how good exactly was he? What type of player was he? Was he a leader on the court who had high usage and would tell everybody where to be and run the offence? Was he incredibly athletic? Was he an amazing scorer? Who in the NBA would you compare him to?

Prime T-Mac vs Prime Kobe was a hotly contested debate back in 2004. He could put up 35-7-7 and look like he wasn"t even trying. He was an average defender, but he had no holes his game offensively. Paul George reminds me of a poor man"s T-Mac

He wasn"t an average defender, well let me rephrase that. When he wanted to he could lock down guys, problem was on the Magic when he was still in his prime our teams were soooooo bad he had to do it all on offense so he saved himself. McGrady in Toronto showed he is a good defender.

There were serious debates about him and Kobe. Many people put him above Kobe as well.

McGrady was damn good on the offensive end, he was hard to stop.

that and he said he had a bad back since he was 19 and felt blessed to have the career he had because he was projected to not even last that long with scoliosis.

算上這個還有他自己說的他19歲時候查出的背上的毛病，能有個職業生涯他就很感激了。當時因為他的脊柱側移，很多人覺得他的生涯不會有這麼久。

He wasn"t a better player for his career, but his talent was top 20 all time easy.

Talent alone pits him top 10. He had the perfect body structure . Like if you want to build the perfect wing player in a laboratory you"ll come out with T-Mac

TMac was a bit of a hybrid of Kobe and Penny Hardaway. TMac was a super dynamic scorer but also a damn good playmaker.

麥迪有點像是科比和便士哈達威的結合體。麥迪是個很有爆發力的得分手還是個特別棒的進攻創造者。
