West top seed could be challenged. The Warriors travel to Houston, San Antonio and back home vs Houston in 3 days at the end of March, all without KD.

西部頭號種子的地位或許要易主了。在三月末的連續三天里，勇士要客場打火箭、馬刺，然後回到主場再次對陣火箭，並且杜蘭特始終缺陣。

This is a tough, tough schedule, especially without KD. Do you think the Warriors finally break their "no back to back losses" streak? Do the Spurs grab the 1st seed?

Realistically, unless we get hot, the Warriors would still be the favorites to win against us.

Seriously. They lost KD; fortunately for them, their KD-less roster won 72 games last year (obviously minus a couple key pieces like Barnes, Bogut, Iggy, but still - nothing to slouch over)

You"re kidding, but it will be interesting to see how the warriors are without Kd. They have spent all season focusing their offense around him. Yeah they still have three all stars, but their bench last year was arguably much better than it is this year. I"m sure they will be fine though

their offense can pull it together but it"s the defense that"s suddenly opened up. losing their 7ft shot blocker is gonna create all kinds of problems for the warriors.

that"s the difference between the cavs and warriors. warriors add KD but cavs add korver, 2 d-wills, and bogut. and depth is far more important in the regular season

Klay aint top 15. lol. Honestly I am not even sure Draymond is either. And Curry is not playing MVP level this year. Maybe they all step up with KD out though and maybe Curry has been less than his usual stellar self bc of focusing on acclimating KD

I love how if they were in the east, this would literally be a non issue because the closest team to their record over there is like 10 games back.

Gotta keep in mind the Spurs don"t really prioritize winning at all costs. Pops is going to rest his guys and could have a much better matchup in the second spot come playoff time. Don"t sleep on Houston in the second spot either.

Spurs have the fewest home games played in the league, 25 games, while they have 33 road games played. They will go for first seed for sure. And most Spurs players have rested a lot till now.

yep, only 4 games back, and they play Warriors 2 more times.

Not only that, both of those games are in SA, and both the Warriors" 2nd game of a back-to-back.

btw, wtf? The warriors also had to play two games in SA on the second game of a back-to-back last year.

In other words, all 4 games the warriors (had) have in SA over these two seasons are the Warriors" 2nd game of a road back-to-back. that"s kind of crazy.

Warriors still a great team and worst case scenario they go something like 15-7 the rest of the way. This puts them at 65 wins. Spurs would need to go 20-4 the rest of the way to tie. Highly unlikely given the way pop rest players and their tough schedule down the stretch. 1-3 seeds all but set in stone out west.

You"re just looking at the numbers and ignoring the match ups. We get the W"s twice at home in that stretch. If we win both of those games then we only need to outplay them by 1 game in all of our non-match ups to tie and take #1 seed.

I don"t think it"s likely that we pull that off but I"ll give us at least a 20% chance. I would be surprised if the Warriors don"t drop some games being forced to adjust for Durant on defense.

Both of those games are on the 2nd night of a back to back too with 1 of the prior games being against Houston. Worst schedule ever.

can we stop with all this doom and gloom? we"re 7-3 in our last 10, same as the warriors and better than the jazz, clips, and the grizz. 2 games ago we dropped 140. we swapped out corey brewer for lou williams not even a week ago.

are we playing our best ball right now? no. are we some kind of shit show in danger of falling off a cliff? no. do we have some issues that need addressing? yes. are we still a top team in the west? yes.

rockets fans need some perspective. losing to indy doesn"t mean the sky is falling.

Rockets are more games behind the Spurs than the Spurs are games behind the Warriors. I think second seed is a pretty long shot dependent on injury to Spurs.
