I"m sad, but I"m not mad about it. Simon fucked him over by not properly giving Larry the funds he needed to build a team to challenge LeBron in the East. Then Larry decides not renew Vogel"s contract, and instead hires his assistant, and then the offense AND defense tanks compared to just the offense under Vogel. Furthermore, we traded GHill away for Teague. Teague isn"t a slouch, but he doesn"t have the defensive mind Hill did, forcing PG to work extra on defense.

The team that took the Raptors to 7 in 2016 should"ve easily been able to make it to a 4th or 5th seed this year with the added strength of PG having moved away from the injury, Turner developing further, and Vogel"s coaching.

This is another case when the ownership is given a heavenly gift and squanders it away, just like Lebron"s first stint in Cleveland. Paul George should"ve been Reggie Miller 2.0 for the Pacer franchise, but poor management drove him away, and I don"t fault him at all. He took us to 2 ECF"s and would"ve probably gone to another had he not gotten injured in 2014.

It"s probably more that he doesn"t want the Lakers to give up anything valuable for him so that they"re a better team when signs with them next summer.

Pacers should just not trade him then. They"re not going to get anything decent in return. Might as well force him to stay put for a year instead of letting him jump ship to a contender for a year.

Lol why are people made at PG"s camp? They want what"s best for PG, not the Pacers. This is what they"re supposed to do. You can"t make this a business when it"s convenient for your team
