1970年時，Parsons正式與紐約的New Schoo-l合并，從那時候開始，Parsons開始穩定地成長為全美最大的藝術與設計學校之一。

服裝設計Fashion Design (BFA)

帕森斯設計學院的服裝設計是在全美興起的第一類服裝設計專業之一，畢業生們引領著美國時裝界。創新是服裝設計專業的傳統。現在，除此之外，環保也是服裝設計考慮的另一關鍵因素了。服裝設計專業的學生會學習縫紉、立體裁剪、樣式製作等技巧，另外素描和數碼設計也是需要掌握的。大四時，需要投入畢業作品集的準備當中。

帕森斯的服裝設計專業誕生了一大批名人，湯姆·福特、唐娜·凱倫、山本耀司、馬克·雅可布等等。

本科各專業要求基本一樣。如果作品集優秀可以會被有條件錄取,托福成績也可以不需要達到92分，副學士AAS申請者：TOEFL IBT 為79 /雅思6.5分

第一部分： PARSONS CHALLENGE

This exercise helps admission committeeunderstand how a future student develops ideas, creates a theme, visuallycommunicates that theme, and defends the work in writing. Use any media tointerpret your work that shares a common idea with 3 new pieces. Acceptablemedia can be any: drawing, video, photography, sculpture, 3D work, collage,digital images, etc. You are allowed to choose a consistent or varied medium.

第二部分： PORTFOLIO

Freshman applicants should submit aportfolio of 8 to 12 pieces. Portfolios can include drawings, paintings,photographs, digital media, design, three-dimensional work, web design,animation, video, and other digital media. Transfer applicants should submit aportfolio of 8 to 12 pieces in the area of interest.

第三部分： ARTIST STATEMENT

What do you make, how do you make it, andwhy do you make? Ultimately, where do you visualize your creative abilities andacademic study to take you after your education here at Parsons? Only up to 500words, please.
