Why does no one want to trade for him? He was literally a franchise player in Minnesota and obviously playing with a big 3 your numbers are gonna go down.

Why would teams like the bulls or the Pacers not give up PG or Jimmy Butler when they got zach Lavine in return instead?

Rumor: There was a five team trade about to go down that included PG13 and Melo to the Cavs. Fell apart because no one wanted Love. (espn.com)

People don"t want to gut their teams to trade for a star. We saw boogie get less value than we thought, we saw jimmy get less value than we thought and we will see George get low value too. Everyone knows they can"t compete with Golden State so they"re hanging onto their long term assets.

Idk how people dont understand this. Trading for Love is a win now move and there arent many teams in a position to win more by trading what they have for him.

Getting love wouldn"t be as good of a long term piece and would keep them somewhere closer to the middle. It"s better to bottem out than stay as a ~35 win team.

The best home for Love is for a team with one star in the vicinity of their prime, or maybe two such stars that are both good on defense, or else an overall decent roster with no true star. Someone like Utah, Memphis, OKC, or Charlotte would be good fits in theory; maybe Houston, Boston, Detroit, Miami, or Washington. The issue with almost all of these teams is that they don"t really have anything that would interest the Cavs enough to warrant moving Love, and/or are just low on assets in general.

He helps the Cavs a lot...except against GSW. Not that he"s not useful against the Warriors, it"s just not really likely that the Cavs can beat them with him and TT.

The problem is when you play against small ball, which eventually happens in the last 5 minutes of games, you gotta put Love at the 5 where he offers no rim protection and can"t stop anyone. Or you stay big and have Love at the 4 where he"s too slow to stay with anybody. This is not a Cavs problem, this is a Love problem. Any team that would sign him would have to deal with his limited defensive abilities. Bigs that can"t protect the rim and are too slow to defend quick 4"s are pretty much outdated in this league.

問題是當對面擺出小球陣容的時候，通常是比賽的最後5分鐘開始，你就要把樂福放在5號位，而他在這個位置提供不了護框，也防不住任何人。或者你可以繼續打大個陣容，把樂福放在4號位，而他又太慢了，跟不住任何人。這不是騎士的問題，這是樂福的問題。任何簽下他的球隊都需要想辦法解決他有限的防守能力。不能護框，而在防守速度快的4號位時又太慢了的大個球員們在這個聯盟里已經相當落伍了。

Teams willing to give up the pieces for Love are looking to rebuild and get young prospects to contend in 3-5 years. Teams that could use him now dont have the assets to get him.

Love is still a top PF. I would suck a dick to get him on the Rockets

I don"t think teams don"t want Love, they just don"t want it to be a multi team trade with Butler/George going to cavs, because the team getting love wants to compete

If cavs were trading love for prospects and picks they"d get a good coup

League is moving in a different direction at the position. If you aren"t a superstar offensive talent, you need to be a 2 way player. He is being undervalued though, imo

I guess Love reached the epitome of the NBA dream by winning a title, but damn I feel like his time in Cleveland killed the player he was in Minnesota. Dude was not utilized to his full potential on the Cavs due to their system.
