1.美國——ACT與SAT

The ACT and SAT are standardized tests for high school achievement and college admissions in the United States.

ACT和SAT是美國衡量高中成績和大學入學資格的標準測試。

ACT measures high school students" general educational development and their capability to complete college-level work with the multiple choice tests covering four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science. The optional Writing Test measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.

ACT通過選擇題，衡量高中生在英語、數學、閱讀和科學這四個領域的總體教育發展水平及他們完成大學學習的能力。選做的寫作測試則衡量短文的規劃與撰寫能力。

The main four tests are scored individually on a scale of 1–36, and a Composite score is provided which is the whole number average of the four scores.

四項主要測試的分值分別都是36分，最後四項測試得分的整數平均分就是綜合分。

Now all four-year colleges and universities in the U.S. accept the ACT, but different institutions place different emphases on standardized tests such as the ACT, compared to other factors of evaluation such as class rank, GPA, and extracurricular activities.

A-Levels is recognized by many universities as the standard for assessing the suitability of applicants for admission in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

It requires studying an offered A-Level subject over a two-year period and sitting for an examination at the end of each year (A1/S and A2, respectively). 3.法國——Baccalauréat （BAC）

It is the main diploma required to pursue university studies. Although it is not legally required, the vast majority of students in their final year of secondary school take the exam.

Most examinations are given in essay-form. The student is given a substantial block of time (depending on the exam, from two to five hours) to complete a multiple-page, well-argued paper. Therefore, the French Baccalauréat is not a completely standardized test.
