DESGIN CONCEPT

新加坡奧查德雅詩閣服務公寓是一家新興建於凱恩山路的高檔服務式公寓，距新加坡時尚零售中心烏節路僅幾碼路程。

The Ascott Orchard is a new, premium servicedresidence tower on Cairnhill Road, just a few yards from Orchard Road, thefashionable retail hub of Singapore.

其設計以創新當代的方式融合時尚元素之精髓，將時尚與酒店式服務完美結合，營造出舒適和平靜的環境，令住戶可頓然從城市的繁雜喧囂完全逃逸。

The design concept incorporates the soul offashion elements in a creative and contemporary manner, a true mélange offashion and hospitality brought together to establish an environment of comfortand calm, a true retreat from the hot hustle bustle of the city on thedoorstep.

一樓入口樓底高達10米，貫通了設於二樓樓底高達5米的接待休息室，形成一視野開闊的空間。入口處以10米高的特色雕刻石牆為裝飾。石牆雕刻模仿垂墜布料，遙遙呼應彎曲的金屬長凳雕塑，金屬雕塑也使入口處的黑色牆壁更形特出。

The first floor entrance area boasts a 10mceiling with an open void allowing the space to flow into the second floorreception lounge, also with a 5m ceiling height.  The entrance is emphasized by the 10m highfeature carved stone wall, emulating a draped fabric, and is contrasted by thecurved metal sculptural bench which also compliments the dark finish wall panelsat the entrance doors.

開放式的接待休息室以巨型深色板條屏風和矚目的藝術壁畫作定位。散置於酒店各樓層、房間、走廊及公共場所的藝術攝影作品以大型壁畫呈現，展現布料或流動或摺疊各種優雅形態，為本設計時尚精妙之處。酒店各處置有時尚配飾及以品牌布料裝整的人形模型。

The reception lounge is an open area anchoredby a large dark slatted screen and dramatic art wall mural.  The photographic artworks throughout thehotel reflect the heart of fashion and showcase the flowing or folding eleganceof fabrics, implemented in large murals at all levels, rooms, corridors andpublic spaces.  Artwork accessories alsoincorporate stylish fashion items and mannequins, tailored in branded fabrics.

位於四樓的雙層健身室，讓住客可在露天或空調房間中進行運動，同時透過全玻璃俯瞰泳池和花園平台的景緻。 第一區的健身室為開放式設計及備有器材站，深受住客歡迎。健身室設在較低樓層，以簡潔黑色框架和攝影作品裝飾，使用大量鏡子增加視覺空間感，同時亦將風景帶入室內。

The double storey height fourth floor gymallows for exercise to be taken in both the open air and air conditioning,incorporating a fully glazed view of the pool and deck.  The first bay of the gym is a covered openspace with equipment stations and is proving to be popular with residents.  The gym area design includes the simple blackframing and photographic artworks established in the lower floors and usesextensive mirrors to visually extend the space and bring the landscaped deckinto the interior.

四樓還設有一個小型訪客休息室，提供廚房、用餐區、休息區及掛牆電視。 客人可以使用休息室進行一般娛樂或私人活動，營造出私人休息室及用餐區的氣氛。

Also on the fourth floor is a small guestlounge which provides a kitchen and dining area, together with a casual seatingarea and tv wall.  Guests can use thelounge for general entertaining or private functions and it offers the ambienceof a private apartment lounge and dining zone rather than a public area.

主設計集合了簡約大氣、時尚、永恆等風格元素，以簡潔色調結合對比強烈的裝潢呈現，更在細節上運用了時裝元素，如在傢具上的訂製刺繡和皮革飾板使用了質感上乘、形態優雅的褶皺，和富層次感、富流動感的布料，為時尚格調加分。公寓大部分空間里優雅的傢具和裝飾都使用了Pierre Frey物料，跟簡約的空間、開揚的室外景觀，和良好的採光，共同營造出優悠舒適的室內氛圍。

The key design parameters incorporate bold,stylish and timeless elements, with a limited palette of colour combined withlimited high contrast elements.  Thefashion essentials of texture, elegant folds, layering and flowing fabrics havebeen combined with details of bespoke stitching and leather wrapped panels onfurniture elements.  Pierre Frey fabricshave been used in most areas but the simplicity of the spaces, emphasis on theexternal views and quality of light, together with the elegant furniture andfinishes, create relaxing and comfortable areas and apartments.

公寓提供二十多層共220間工作室及套房，工作室間格多樣，套房則分別含有一個、二個，或三個卧室，面積從30平方米到80平方米不等。 大堂和接待休息室位於一樓和二樓，四樓設有一個健身房和住客休息室，可俯瞰泳池和花園景緻。

The residence offers 220 studios and apartmentsover twenty floors, with a varied mix of studios, one, two and three bedroomapartments, from 30 to 80sqm.  The lobbyand reception lounge are on the first and second floors, plus a gym andresident』s lounge on the fourth floor overlooking the pool deck and landscapedgarden.

房間採用時尚設計概念，與公共區域相似，結合了Pierre Frey布料製作的傢具，大大提高空間感和自然亮度，從一個居住空間流淌到另一個。房間間隔多樣化，面積從30平方米到80平方米，均設有設備齊全的開放式廚房和餐桌。淺色調的物料、深色布料、層壓板、木材、框架和傢具形成強烈的對比效果。人形模型作為藝術裝飾品，常與鏡子並置形成雙重影像，效果炫目；將攝影特效壁畫配合簡潔黑框製成床頭板牆壁；浴室地板和牆壁使用大塊淺色瓷磚，結合透明玻璃黑框隔牆和黑框鏡櫃；全身鏡、廚房及藝術品的優美配搭更可突出黑色框架的元素。

The apartments are designed using the fashion concept,similar to the public areas and incorporate Pierre Frey fabrics along withfabric wrapped and stitched furniture. They are designed to maximize the space and natural light, easilyflowing from one living space to another. The apartments are varied and haveareas from 30 to 80sqm., all with open, fully fitted kitchens and diningtable.  The material palette is light incolour tone, with high contrast provided by some dark fabrics, laminates,timbers, frames and furniture. Mannequins are used as artwork features, often combined with mirrorpanels to allow a rear view, along with the photographic murals being installedas bed headboard walls with simple black frames.  Bathrooms use large light coloured tiles forfloors and walls, clear glass partitions and the mirror cabinets reflect thedark frame elements also found in some of the kitchen wall cabinets, mirror andartwork frames.

As Founder and Managing Director of CL3 Architects Ltd. (CL3), William Lim brings over 20 years of experience to his projects. An acclaimed architect and artist, William graduated from Cornell University and has spent the past two decades at the forefront of architecture, culture and art.
