Yea - Curry was a national story back in college (I don"t even follow college basketball, but Curry had me watching Davidson games, along with everyone else). I don"t know where this narrative even came from that people act like he came out of nowhere.

Curry was the 7th pick in the draft and there was serious discussion about whether the Thunder would pick him 3rd (over Harden).

They got destroyed, and after he was questioned about his strange strategy. He basically said "nobody will remember the game, they"ll just see that we held Steph Curry scoreless"

Yeah, people like to hate on Jack that year but the dude brought fire that really allowed the young guys like Steph and Klay to grow. Jack"s leadership was invaluable and his role as a secondary ballhandler next to Steph was integral to his off-ball success that year. Samurai Jack will always have a place at Oracle, IMO.
