Have you followed the latest 「Haute Couture Fashion Week」?

在採訪中，迪奧的創意總監說：

「我不想失去夢想。但是我想讓時裝變得實穿。」

During the interview the present Creative director of Dior said:

「I don』t want to lose the idea of dreaming.But I do want to make it possible for couture to be wearable.」

高級定製，實穿？好像設計師正在回答許多人的抱怨「沒有一套衣服是可供日常穿戴的，這是浪費錢」。但是，它是延伸高級時裝業務的正確解決方案嗎？

Haute Couture!!? Wearable!?

It seems like the designer is replying to many complain about how 「none of it is wearable and it is a waste of money.」

But is it a proper solution for the extension of Haute Couture business?

高級定製是時尚設計的巔峰之作。除了在巴黎手工製作之外的服裝不能稱為「高級定製」。 Couture代表世界上最熟練的手工製作的最優質的服裝定製。

Haute couture is the pinnacle of fashion design. Literally translated as 「high dressmaking」, a garment cannot be called 「haute couture」 unless it is hand-made in Paris. Couture represents the highest quality garment custom made by the most skilled artisans in the world.

定製應該是真正豪華的象徵，儘管他看起來跟大眾似乎沾不上邊。

Maybe it does.
