Ryoji Ikeda（池田亮司）1966年生於日本岐阜，他是日本先鋒電子樂製作人與視覺藝術家，他的作品出現在世界許多最重要的活動和機構中，其中不僅有法國蓬皮杜藝術中心、英國泰特現代美術館、澳大利亞動態影像研究中心、波士頓麻省理工學院、巴塞羅那聲納藝術節、蒙特利爾電子藝術節、山口藝術與媒體中心和紐約跨界藝術節，近年來「藝術北京」當代藝術博覽會和上海K11中心也都展出了他的作品。

Japan』s leading electronic composer and visual artist Ryoji Ikeda will present his audiovisual live concert supercodex [live set] in China for the first time at YugongYishan, Beijing and Arkham, Shanghai on October 20th and October 21th.

Ryoji Ikeda focuses on the essential characteristics of sound itself and that of visuals as light by means of both mathematical precision and mathematical aesthetics. He has gained a reputation as one of the few international artists working convincingly across both visual and sonic media. He elaborately orchestrates sound, visuals, materials, physical phenomena and mathematical notions into immersive live performances and installations.
