I"m a 35-year-old, out of shape father of two, a congenital arm amputee and a streaky shooter -- roast me! (edit: oops, wrong sub)

I hope to work up the endurance to attempt the full 400 within the next 10 days, with the goal of 2 hours 10 min or less.

A couple things, the advice about a smaller gym with closer walls and a generous rim would definitely be advantageous. Unfortunately for me, this is the only gym I have access to. The rim is super stingy -- I feel like I only got 3-4 generous rolls while many rimmed out.

Yeah, unfortunately there"s no NBA line at the gym I play at. I tried to shoot as many as I could a couple feet behind the arc though.

Thanks! I"ve played casually since I was 6 or 7. I grew up in Utah, so Junior Jazz was a staple. I was usually the last kid picked during pickup ball, so I didn"t even bother trying out for the high school team.

I still try to play pickup at my gym a couple times per week, though work can be prohibitive.
