Notes From The Game

Slovenia

Doncic is so dangerous the Spanish coach was reviewing/emphasizing how to cover him on D in the huddle at one point in the first half

Doncic can run the pick and roll better than any teenager I"ve ever seen, his size and length allow him to pass over the defense unlike many other ball handlers, i"d argue his Court vision is already ahead of Dragic

Speaking of Dragic you can tell he is the leader of this team though, everyone looks to him to set the tone and he has not let them down, tourney MVP so far. That crazy 4 point play was huge + getting his own rebound & scoring in the 4th quarter

Prepelic couldnt miss from 3 in the first half, that guy is a gunner. Slovenia came out hard in transition in the second half

Anthony Randolphs jumper is such a huge x factor for Slovenia, when he"s on like he is today their offense is super dynamic

Spain

Shot like shit from 3 in the first half

Slovenia looked like the better team in the first half but Spain was still able to keep it within 4 at half time.

for much of the game Marc Gasol looked frustrated, he was in foul trouble and was ineffective on D

Rickys jumper is so forced and mechanical looking, shot was inconsistent today. He was also timid scoring in the paint

Spanish defense couldn"t contain penetration when it mattered and is their achilles heel

no one other than Pau really stepped up and he"s too old to do it all for the team now, especially on defense.

tried to come out with a zone in the 4th quarter, lol that didn"t work very well

EDIT: I was proud to witness this game for Slovenia, they have a fantastic program and Dragic is an amazing player so I knew they had a chance to make the finals. Lets get gold boys!!!

東契奇的擋拆要強過我見過的任何青年球員，和很多持球人不同，他的體型和高度讓他能夠越過防守者的上方傳球，我懷疑他的球場視野可能已經優於德拉季奇了。

說起德拉季奇，你會發現他仍然是這支球隊的領袖，每名隊員都指望他定下比賽基調，而他也沒有讓他們失望，目前為止的錦標賽MVP。那記逆天的打四分表演意義重大，第四節還有自搶籃板再得分的表現。

普雷佩利奇上半場三分彈無虛發，這傢伙真是門斯洛維尼亞炮。他們下半場在攻防轉換上表現強硬。

安東尼-蘭多夫的跳投是斯洛維尼亞巨大的X因素，當他像今天這樣火力全開時，球隊的進攻無比的動感流暢。

西班牙

上半場的三分球命中率翔一樣。

上半場，斯洛維尼亞的表現更好，但西班牙還能在中場休息時僅以4分落後。

比賽的大部分時間裡，馬克-加索爾看上去很急躁不安，他落入了犯規陷阱，在防守端也效率不佳。

盧比奧的跳投看著太強行出手、太僵硬了，他今天的投射很不連貫。他也不敢在油漆區內得分。

西班牙的防守在關鍵時刻一捅就破，這是他們的阿基里斯之踵。

除了保羅-加索爾，沒人能真正站出來，然而他也過了能獨力撐起一支球隊的年紀了，特別是在防守端。

大加索爾在第四節試圖強行carry，但不是很湊效哈哈哈。

Good notes. Also the 3pt frenzy is starting to show in fiba too with Slovenia winning basically by going 15/25 from 3 against Spain going 7/27. Slovenia was super hot with three 3"s going in off the glass but they also just got them with better execution for todays basketball. Slovenia ran p&r almost every half court possession and moved the ball for the open look when Spain fed the ball to Gasol brothers to post which is fine but it just didn"t create good kick outs and their 3"s where from more awkward passing angles and from forced situations.
