抗戰勝利，一個值得銘記的日子！

今天是中國人民抗日戰爭勝利紀念日（China marks the 72th anniversary of victory against Japan），一個值得慶賀、值得緬懷、引人反思的日子。

事件回顧

The War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression began in 1937, when Japan launched a full-scale invasion after the July 7th Incident, also known as the Lugou Bridge Incident.

抗日戰爭開始於1937年，七月七日事件發生後（也稱為盧溝橋事件），日本發動全面入侵。

The surrender of Imperial Japan was announced on August 15thand formally signed on September 2nd, 1945.

1945年8月15日本宣布無條件投降，並於 9月2日簽署投降書，投降正式生效。

The Victory Day is celebrated across the world every year in late August and early September to mark Japan』s official surrender.

每年八月下旬和九月初，世界各地都有人慶祝日本正式投降。

戰爭中情報用語

不管是空海陸軍（airborne or naval or ground），都需要情報人員（briefer）準確無誤的情報才能一擊制勝，讓我們來看看一些簡單的情報用語。

permissive,semi-permissiveand non-permissiveenvironment中permissive表示許可的，自由的。這三個詞在這裡相當於friendly,iffy orhostileenvironments。

degrade原為使……降級的意思。在情報用語中表示damage or destroy by way of bombardment，由於炸彈襲擊而受到傷害或毀滅。

asset資產，這個詞也是情報用語中的高頻辭彙，表示全體人員。

Air assets,naval assets,strikeassets,rescueassets—(assets)meanspersonnel.

另外，我們還要知道collateraldamage表示civiliancasualties，平民傷亡人數。

War is death s feast.

戰爭是死亡的筵席。
