美國的NolanStreiberger出生於俄勒岡州東部，在一次夏令營中他見識了攝影和暗房，便愛上了拍照。

大學期間他學習了平面設計、數字成像技術，畢業之後在惠普（Hewlett Packard）擔任平面設計師。直到他和妻子有了女兒，他才重拾攝影並且辭去了工作。他曾為女兒 Haley 拍攝過一組照片，在那個難忘的夏天。
