They"d have to give the Kings more value than that though. Kings aren"t just gonna take a worse contract and be fine with it. Cavs have other problems to solve and getting a PG on a bad contract isn"t one of them.

Not really, our PG position has been pretty strong the past few years. Kyrie (obviously before this year), IT is only five games back from injury, and Jose and Wade have been pretty good this year as well.

Shumpert, Frye, and Rose are rumored to be in the deal-- and presumably also Cleveland"s own first round draft pick. The Kings have a full roster, so they would probably have to cut Malachi Richardson and Georgios Papagiannis to do a 3-for-1 deal.
Or they could add them to the deal but not sure they"re worth the luxury tax hit to Cleveland...

he"s going to be 34 next year and the Warriors aren"t slowing down anytime soon. If it pisses him off so much that he leaves, so be it. We just have a head start on a post Warriors/post LeBron NBA.

Frye"s contract is expiring, Shumpert"s ends in the 2018-19 season. If they don"t want to deal with Hill"s attitude then they gain 8 mil in salary space and get a late first round pick for a player who doesn"t want to be there.

I may be wrong, but doesn"t that put Cleveland in a worse position? They have plenty of backcourt depth in Wade, Rose, IT, and Calderon, so I would imagine that if they wanted Hill he would have to replace one or two of their current backcourt players.
Giving up Frye also doesn"t sound ideal, since he"s a solid floor spacer for them as a big man.

Hill to the Cavs sounds pretty solid to me.
Hill"s weakness is playmaking but LBJ covers that part of the game completely.
Hill can defend, knock down shots, and slash inside the paint.
