紐西蘭警方回應：說「中國人為什麼都沒耐性」的警員已被警告！

文章發出當天，紐西蘭警方負責民族服務事務的戰略顧問葉健強第一時間聯繫到了天維菌，今日，他代表紐西蘭警方就此事作出了回應——

「We expect our staff to maintain the highest levels of service and to act with integrity, empathy, professionalism, respect and in line with the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and valuing diversity at all times as per our values.」

我們期望我們的員工在工作時能夠時刻保持最高的服務標準，並保持誠實、同情、專業和尊重的工作態度，遵守懷唐依條約的重要精神，重視多元文化。

「We demand the highest standards of integrity from our staff, in terms of judgement, choices and actions.」

我們一直用最高標準來要求我們員工保持正直，從判斷、選擇和行動這幾個方面。

「On this occasion the words used in the message are not appropriate in the circumstances and the officer who sent the message has been spoken with.」

在這次事件中，當事警員在簡訊中使用了不當的措辭，該警員已經被警告。

「In relation to this specific incident the investigation into the crash is ongoing. A thorough investigation is being carried out with the parties involved, witnesses and at the scene. Any decision to lay charges in relation to the crash will be based on the outcome of the investigation and evidence gathered. 」

有關這次事故的調查正在進行中。我們正在從事故當事人、目擊證人和事故現場幾個方面進行徹查。有關事故的決定和判決會依據所有的調查結果和證據進行。
