今年的春節來得有點早,本以為可以回到家鄉,感受久違的農曆新年;今年的夏天來得更早,在悉尼見到了久別的K9,同時祝福了與我同行的你們!
This Spring Festival of 2017 came early, and I did not return to my hometown for the Lunar New Year as planned because of work; this summer of 2017 came even earlier, in which I saw K9s in Sydney after a long separation and wished you all the best!
我們經常感慨自己有機會參與到這場被稱作百年一遇的汽車工業變革中;我們也經常為自己還未做好充分準備而倍感不安。
We have mixed feelings about being engaged in this once-in-a-century revolution in automobile industry; we feel uneasy from time to time for not being well-prepared.
亞太銷售事業部成立至今,我們最大的收穫:不僅僅是在諸多精心培育的市場上看到了EV家族成員的年年增多,更有我們在這個過程中通過一起努力獲取了從未有過的自信,這些自信將會與你們白頭偕老。
Since we set up Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, more and more EV models have shown up in many markets, and the confidence we have acquired through team efforts, will benefit us for life. These are our greatest gains.
我非常感謝你們選擇了BYD,更感謝你們接受了公司賦予我們必須統領亞太清潔能源市場的持久挑戰。任重而道遠,是我們的共識,實現每一個目標,還需我們做很多事情:
I want to extend my thanks to you for choosing BYD, and for taking the long-lasting challenge to dominate the electric vehicle market in Asia Pacific. We all know that we have a long way to go. In order to achieve each goal, we still have many things to do.

我們現在所經歷的每一件事情,都是在教科書上找不到答案的。我們所面對的每一個市場都有其獨特且任性的一面,市場大多選擇從拒絕開始與我們面對面。有的放矢,是我們經常說道的言語,但真要做到,並不容易。希望你們每一個人結合前輩們睿智的建議和經驗,發揮你們年輕、熱情、以誠待人的態度,大膽地融入到任何一個不為我們所熟悉的市場環境中去,積極撲捉客戶的真正需求是什麼、在哪裡,並將其變成我們的優勢和賣點。
No matter what kind of question we come across, the answers cannot be found in textbooks. Each market is unique and self-willed, and most of them will refuse to meet us face to face at the beginning. It is often said that we need to do thing with a clear target, but it is not that easy. Based on the suggestions and experience of your predecessors, I hope you can be brave to fit in any new market circumstance with your passion and sincerity, figure out the real demands of our clients, and turn them into our advantages and selling points.
技術不僅改變了歷史,更讓歷史的行進速度變得驚人!我們時常感到自己剛剛學到的東西還未來得及顯擺就已經「過時」了,特別是在知識流量挑戰知識存量的今天,我們必須要不斷地提高自己的學習能力,為自己擁有更好且可持續的創造力保駕護航!
Technology has not only changed history, but stunningly sped up its course! We often have such a feeling that what we have just learnt becomes out of date very soon. Especially in nowadays society when managing knowledge flows instead of knowledge stocks has become a trend, we should continuously improve our learning ability to provide ourselves with endless creativity.

我們所接觸的任何一個市場,他們對BYD的需求都不是單一產品,而是符合本國和地區發展的綠色新產業。這也是值得我們驕傲和為公司長久以來的高瞻遠矚而點贊的地方。希望你們在工作中一定從大局出發,結合自己的工作內容,積極思考,整合資源,不拘泥固有的做事方法和部門間的「束縛」,多問自己一些為什麼、為什麼、為什麼!
In every market we reached, rather than mere products, what the clients want is to build a green industry in line with the national and regional development. That is what we are proud of and the foresight of our company. I hope you can proceed from the overall situations at work, thinking about how to make good use of your resources, daring to break the routine and the bonds among departments, and asking 「why」 to yourselves more often.
亞太團隊儘管年輕,但千萬不要因為對自己能力的懷疑和不安而錯失機遇,我們是在傳統的市場中嘗試著前無古人的壯舉,需要利用更快、更智能的方法做好原來的事情,需要更加敢於承擔,需要有捨我其誰的霸氣!回首幾年來我們一起走過亞太的每一個市場,還有什麼比我們留下的鏗鏘腳印更有說服力呢!
Our team is young, but we should never miss any chance for lack of self-confidence. We have been making an unprecedented push in conventional markets. We should work smarter and more efficiently, and be more active to take on the tasks. If not me, then who? We have set foot on many Asia-Pacific markets in the past few years. This is the strongest demonstration of our abilities!

隨著業務內容的多元化,隨著新技術、新事物、新知識的日新月異,我們在工作中還存在太多的不專業行為。近年來,中國推崇的「工匠精神」不僅僅是針對製造現場的表現,更是對行走在社會上所有人的要求。對於銷售團隊,日常的言行舉止是開始體現「工匠精神」的原點,一封郵件、一次對話、一場活動、一趟商旅都是我們實現工匠精神的路徑。
As BYD diversifies its business in this fast-changing world of new knowledge and technologies, we often act unprofessionally at work. In recent years, the craftsman spirit prevailing in China has been promoted in manufacturing sites. It should also be a demand on all social beings. In a sales team, the craftsman spirit is revealed by daily behaviors. An e-mail, a conversation, an activity, or a business travel can be a way to develop this spirit.
我也時常在檢討如何提升自己的專業知識,如何與你們一起打造一個更加專業的銷售團隊。依靠一些培訓和說教是不足以達到我們要求的,必須要我們通過自身的學習和領悟,結合公司、部門賦予每一個人的不同職位,嚴格、再嚴格地要求自己,把實現專業化的自我變成一種永久的習慣,這對希望成長的你們非常重要!
I often make a self-criticism, trying to learn more professional knowledge and finding ways to build a more professional sales team with you. Trainings and instructions are not enough. We should learn by ourselves, be stricter with ourselves at work, and form a lifelong habit of acting professionally. It is very important for anyone who wants to grow.

進入2017年,我們結合以往工作中的不足,邀請大家參與制定了不同領域的管理制度,非常感謝你們的積极參与和建議。商場如戰場,機會更是稍縱即逝,我們必須將大家最優秀的技能組織好、利用好、發揮好。通過部門橫向協作的層層深化,一定讓你們的能力得到最好的提升,同時也要讓更多的市場獲取快速發展的捷徑。無論是部門負責人還是剛剛加入的「新人」,亞太都需要你們積極地參與到團隊建設中來。BYD在亞太地區的國際化進程會逐年提速,當地化人才的引入更會大刀闊斧,任何一個場景都需要你們的亮相和貢獻。你們不遺餘力的持續參與不僅會讓團隊的發展事半功倍,通過各種溝通也一定會不斷地更新你們自己的知識存量。對於銷售部門而言,出差,是工作中不可或缺的組成部分,並不是公司的福利。請繼續感恩和珍惜公司給予我們的每一次與陌生人和陌生環境接觸的機會,這些「陌生」會讓你們擁有一個不熟悉的新技能、新發現,將其變成促使團隊和公司發展的核心驅動力更是我們責無旁貸的使命。
In early 2017, many of you were invited to help make administrative rules in different fields based on the past working experience. Thank you for your active participation and advice. Business is a war without bullets and opportunity knocks but once. We must make integrated use of your excellent skills. Different departments are deepening their cooperation, which will help improve your abilities and provide a way for more markets to develop faster. From department leaders to new employees, we need you all to be active participators in the team building. BYD will further advance the internationalization in Asia-Pacific and attract more local talents, and we need your appearance and contributions on every scene. Your engagement will boost the team development, while through all kinds of communications, you will incessantly update your knowledge base. Business trips, obviously not corporate welfare, are an indispensable part for members in sales departments. Please be grateful for every chance BYD offers us and cherish it. While working in an unfamiliar environment and making contact with strangers, you may gain new skills and make new discoveries. It is our bounden duty to turn them into a core driving force that will stimulate the development of our team and BYD.
不忘初心,砥礪前行!相信我們在亞太地區的深耕細作、務實進取的精神,一定會讓比BYD成為新能源整體解決方案開創中的一顆恆星!
Please remain true to our original aspiration and work tirelessly to realize our goals in Asia Pacific. I believe through our hard work, we can establish a stable presence of BYD as a supplier of new energy solutions!
