據酒精與藥物史學會（ADHS）官方消息：2019年雙年會將在中國上海大學馬斯托禁毒政策研究中心舉辦，舉辦時間為2019年6月12日—15日。
該會議由英國斯克萊德大學Jim Mills 教授，上海大學張勇安教授組織，會議主題與截止時間將在未來18個月內發布。
據悉這是該研究會第一次在亞洲舉辦雙年會。該雙年會將由上海大學、英國斯克萊德大學、惠康基金會等單位聯合主辦。
The ADHS is excited to announce that its next bi-annual conference will be held between 12 and 15 June 2019, at the David F. Musto Center for Drug Policy Studies, Shanghai University, China.
The conference will be organised by Prof. Jim Mills, of the University of Strathclyde and Prof. Yong-an Zhang of Shanghai University, who will keep the society updated as the conference themes and deadlines are finalised over the next 18 months.

酒精與藥物史學會（ADHS）成立於1979年，旨在促進有志於研究國際社會酒精、藥物使用及其管制政策等相關各個領域的學者之間的學術交流。其願景是促進關於酒精和藥物使用、濫用、生產、貿易和管理史的跨時空的學術交流和討論。
The Alcohol and Drugs History Society (ADHS) was founded in 1979 to foster exchange among scholars interested in all aspects of past alcohol or drug use or control within any society. Its mission is to promote scholarship and discussions about the history of alcohol and drug use, abuse, production, trade and regulation across time and space.
主要活動
ADHS是研究酒精和藥物史學者的國際協會，出版有同行評議期刊——《酒精與藥物社會史》年刊與焦點博客。該協會每兩年舉辦一次國際雙年會，同時每年在世界各地舉辦小型學術活動。
The ADHS is an international society of scholars working in the field of alcohol and drugs history. It publishes the peer reviewed international journal, The Social History of Alcohol and Drugs annually and the Points blog. The Society organizes a biennial international conference as well as sponsoring smaller events each year in different parts of the world.

學會往年會議
該學會每兩年舉辦一次雙年會，過去的雙年會舉辦地為加拿大安大略省圭爾夫、英國格拉斯哥、美國布法羅、英國倫敦、美國俄亥俄州鮑林格林以及荷蘭。
2016年11月10日至11日，在英國約克召開成癮問題研究學術會議。
2016年7月14至17日，在美國伊利諾斯州德懷特基利治療中心召開成癮治療與禁酒會議。

The ADHS organizes a biennial international conference. Past events have been held in Guelph, Glasgow, Buffalo, London and Bowling Green, Ohio and Netherlands.
