作品簡介
《福爾摩斯探案全集》是英國作家柯南·道爾創作的小說集，主角名為夏洛克·福爾摩斯（Sherlock Holmes，又譯作歇洛克·福爾摩斯），包括4部長篇及56個短篇。其中12篇短篇集結為《冒險史》、14篇集結為《回憶錄》、10篇集結為《歸來記》、8篇集結為《最後的致意》、12篇集結為《新探案》。4部長篇分別為《血字的研究》《四簽名》《巴斯克維爾的獵犬》和《恐怖谷》。

《黃面人》（The Yellow Face）收錄於短篇小說集《回憶錄》（The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes），系第二篇。

之所以摘這段，是因為找到了同道中人。要問為什麼我也是an extremely sound sleeper，原因很簡單，因為睡前讀英文原版書，不信你也可以試試。學個詞兒「jest」，朗當上的英文釋義是「something you say that is intended to be funny, not serious」，也就是「玩笑，俏皮話」的意思，當然我家的家庭俏皮話可以出一套書了。
