英語口語：「肯定有貓膩/有鬼」英語怎麼說？
在中文裡，你可以說裡面「肯定有貓膩」，也可以說「肯定裡面有鬼」，也可以說「此時事有蹊蹺」，也可以說「肯定有見不得人的東西」，還可以說「肯定有可疑的地方，疑點重重」，甚至還可以說的更「露骨」一些：「肯定是作弊，肯定有營私舞弊」。其實這些中文意思都比不多一樣。不過，在沒有拿到確鑿「證據」之前，我們最好還是不要輕易使用「作弊，營私舞弊」(cheats,tricks,frauds,scams)這類實詞，以防對自己不利，還是多用「猜測」口氣比較穩妥。
另外，從學習英語看，我們最好不要一上來從中文去「問」這樣的英語問題，用這樣的方式「學」英語，還是先來看「英語是怎麼說」的吧，畢竟我們是要在「英語語言環境」中學英語。
1) 讀英語：
In Kenya, we were told by government authorities that all documents concerning Obama were under seal until after the U.S. presidential election on November 4.
Something is fishy out there.People want Obama to show his official birth certificate...even lawsuits have been filed. Why doesn"t Obama just show everyone his birth certificate and be done with this whole thing?
如果「需要」中文才能看得懂，中文如下(但最好脫離這個「習慣」)：

Something is fishy out there.人們有權要奧巴馬出示他的出生證明，為此，甚至有人還告訴上了法庭。為什麼奧巴馬就不能把自己的出生證拿出來給大家過過眼？拿出來看看不就完事了嗎？
Something is fishy out there.Something is fishy out there.就是上面一大堆中文的大概意思。
2) 說英語口語：
1. When we say Something is fishy out there,we can also say：There is something fishy going on out there.There is something fishy about this.
2. When we say Something is fishy out there. Or：There is something fishy going on out there.Or：There is something fishy about this, we mean：Something is suspicious, or questionable,or Something is subject to question.
你選擇哪一句來說都可以，都是表達「可疑，貓膩，有鬼」的意思。但最好不要把這些句子用來做英譯漢翻譯，而是把它們用來做「英譯英同義詞替換理解」訓練，實現「用英語學英語」的訓練目標。否則，你又「落入」把中文作為英語學習的唯一「理解語言」的「窠臼」之中：
