佛法要靠恭敬心和信心求得

與其他的教育不同，佛法要靠恭敬心和信心求得。對佛法有一顆虔誠的心，有一顆堅定不移的信心，就能得到。如果沒有信心，學得再多、懂得再多，你就是把三藏十二部都背下來、都能講，也沒有用，佛法里講的這些成就你一點也得不到。佛法和其他的學問不一樣，佛講的大部分的道理都是出世間的，都已經超越了世間，超出了六根的對境，超出了六根所能感知的範圍。憑自己的認知，憑自己的力量是根本不可能學會的。如果你有具足的信心，哪怕是一個字也不認識，一句也不會念也能成就，也能得到佛法里講的這些功德。

Different from other education, Dharma is obtained depending on the respect and faith. To obtain Dharma, we should have the devout and unalterable faith. Without the faith, even you have learned and understand a lot, and you can recite and talk about the Tripitaka, it is no use. You won』t gain any attainment in the Dharma. Dharma is different from other knowledge. Most knowledge in Buddha Dharma are beyond world, and beyond the objects of the six roots and their range of senses. It is not possible to learn the dharma depending on one`s own cognition and ability. If you have the complete faith, even though you don』t know any words or cannot read any sentences, you will still obtain the merits and virtues in the Buddha Dharma.
