（ 記者鯤鵬/採訪報導）世界傳統文化研究院」美國分院揭牌儀式暨新聞發佈會於2月23日下午2點，在藍天文化中心舉行。拉斯維加斯市政府代表Gayle Anderson、世界傳統文化研究院常務院長張可可以及維加斯各界人士百餘人到場祝賀。
揭牌儀式前，現場播放美國國歌，著名歌唱家唐麗萍領唱中國國歌。拉斯維加斯市政府代表Gayle Anderson致辭並向張可可、李侃贈送賀狀，張可可回贈了油畫作品。世界傳統文化研究院常務院長張可可與美國分院院長李侃為分院成立揭牌，並分別為穩盈地產公司總裁張榮頒發名譽院長證書，為張曉東、穀雨、Helen Hong、嚴秀林頒發美國分院副院長證書。
美國分院院長李侃在致辭中首先感謝來賓的光臨。他介紹，世界傳統文化研究院塞上魯西書畫院是目前全球最大、最具影響力的綜合文化交流平臺，該文化平臺在全世界有一百零五個分院。成立世界傳統文化研究院塞上魯西書畫院美國分院，是著眼於「一帶一路」文化戰略要求，適應時代發展需要所做出的一項重大決策。分院自籌備以來，得到了創始人劉田依、李佳琴、馮存輝的大力支持，真誠地希望文學藝術家朋友們通過這個平臺互相溝通，互相切磋，互相學習，為繁榮中國書畫藝術、實現傳統文化的偉大復興作出自己最大的貢獻。林萬發教授做了總結發言。
揭牌儀式後，還進行了現場拍賣活動，張可可老師的兩幅狗年作品分別以起拍價988美元被北美上海商會會長王佳玫、唐海潤夫婦拍得，以實際行動支持傳統文化。
