Dear friends, we are thrilled to let you know that our"Food For Life (FFL) food education programs"continue with our"Kids Health special workshop". Yeah, we are launching the first one right after Chinese New Year!

親愛的朋友們,我們非常開心為大家宣布一個好消息,Sprout Lifestyle即將正式發布"生命之糧 - 兒童健康飲食專題工作坊"。中國新年後第一期工作坊就會與大家見面啦!

"Food for Life" Food Education Programs

從去年七月開始,我們就發布了一系列史無前例的Food For Life專題營養講座和烹飪課程。

Starting from July last year, we have been launching our brand newFood For Lifeseries of nutrition talks and cooking demos.

Food For Life由尼爾巴納德醫學博士和他創始的位於美國華盛頓的美國醫師醫藥責任協會共同發起創立。美國醫師醫藥責任協會是一個非營利機構,在疾病預防醫學尤其是飲食營養以及科學研究方面做著巨大的努力。協會朝著使用植物性飲食和營養學預防及扭轉疾病這一目標,Food For Life項目已在美國開展了超過十二年的時間。

The Food For Life program was designed byNeal Barnard, M.D.,and his organisationThe Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) in Washington DC,which is a non profit health organization in Washington DC dedicated to promoting preventative medicine, particularly good nutrition, and supports higher standards in research,and has been running in the USA for over 12 years, with the aim of using plant-based food & nutrition as a way to prevent and reverse illnesses.

這一課程已來到上海,由上海地區首位Food For Life導師夏婉婷及其Sprout Lifestyle團隊主辦,共分為Food For Life癌症、糖尿病、體重管理、兒童健康(僅為兒童開設)、員工健康等多個系列。

Food for Life is finally in Shanghai. Hosted by Shanghai"s very first Food For Life teacher Kimberly Ashton and her Sprout Lifestyle team, we will be launching several series on Food For Life Cancer, Diabetes,Weight Management,Kids Health (for kids only)& Employee Wellness.

The Food for Life Kids Health program was developed by physicians and dietitians to help your child(ren) better understandthe connection between plant-based foods and disease preventionand teach them how to prepare a number ofsimple, healthy, nutritious and delicious meals & snacks, and its now LIVE in Shanghai taught inChinese & English.

生命之糧兒童健康飲食專題由醫生和營養師共同設計,旨在幫助兒童更好地理解植物性飲食和疾病預防之間的關係。通過學習這個飲食專題,小朋友們可以學習如何烹飪簡單、健康、營養又美味的三餐食物 & 零食。在Sprout Lifestyle,該專題將用中英雙語教授。

What you children will enjoy?

小朋友們會參與並學到什麼?

- The power plate & healthy food groups認識能量餐盤與健康食物分類;

- Introduction to healthy ingredient concepts: wholegrains, low sugar, high fiber, superfoods, etc. 學習健康食材概念: 全穀類、低糖、高纖維、超級食物等;

- Interactive cooking sessions including: monster smoothie, energy oatmeal bar and healthy breakfast creations, chocolate mousse, delicious wraps, wholegrain pasta & coloful salads 互動體驗烹飪環節: 巨人果昔、燕麥能量棒與創意健康早餐想法、巧克力慕斯、美味卷餅、全穀物意麵、多彩色拉;

- Fun games including: plant-powered bingo, charades, wholegrains word search, tasting new ingredient charts, fiber worksheets, draw your plate 超有趣的遊戲環節: 蔬果賓果、你畫我猜、你演我猜、全穀物單詞大搜索、新食材嘗嘗看、纖維猜猜猜、畫自己的能量餐盤。

Sign your kids up for a fantastic, highly interactive, engaging session where they will learn about nutrition in a fun way, spend the day cooking, playing educational games, plus enjoying and appreciating food in a whole new way.

The half-day (10am-3pm) workshop at450rmbincludes healthy lunchand is suitable for kids at5-12 years oldand especially for kids who love food, enjoy cooking, learning and broadening their awareness of healthy foods. Parents are requested to drop off kids at 10am and pick them up at 3pm, this is a kids only workshop!

這個半天(早上10點到下午3點)的工作坊僅對5-12歲的小朋友開放,價格為450元還包含健康午餐喲!家長們請記得活動10點準時開始,不要遲到。放心讓他們在這裡玩耍和學習,下午3點再見啦!
