比爾蓋茨回答了我的這個問題

最近看了幾本書，有關倫理、財富、教育、公平…… 讓我深深有一種無力感，那麼有錢能否解決一切呢？有意思的是有兩本書作者都提到了在公益慈善方面做了很多事情的蓋茨夫婦。

比爾蓋茨每年都會發一封年信講述最近一年在慈善領域的工作的工作，今年是第十個年頭，紀念方式是回答問題。

我在微博上收集問題後，通過蓋茨基金會向他本人提了這個問題：

你認為人工智慧將如何重塑公共衛生的格局？

It will have a significant impacton every aspect of healthcare, from helping researchers discover new drugsfaster, to diagnosing cases more accurately, to encouraging patients to stickto their treatment regimens.

人工智慧對醫療保健的各個方面都將產生重大影響, 從幫助研究人員更快地發現新葯，到更準確地診斷病例，以及鼓勵病人堅持治療方案。

If we collect the right data, wecan start to get a clear sense of who is at risk of what, so that we candeliver the right interventions to the right people at the right time. This approachcan improve the quality of care people receive while reducing cost by orders ofmagnitude. There are four steps the global health community needs to take toseize this opportunity: register all births and deaths, track disease,incorporate laboratory analysis (instead of just making best guesses aboutcauses of death), and train more people to do this kind of work.

如果我們收集了正確的數據, 就可以更清楚地了解哪些人有得哪些病的風險, 這樣我們就可以在正確的時間，對正確的人進行正確的干預。這種方法可以提高人們接受的護理的質量, 同時大幅降低治療成本。在全球健康領域，我們需要採取四個步驟以抓住人工智慧這個機遇: 登記所有的出生和死亡；跟蹤疾病進展；納入實驗室分析(而不僅僅是對死亡原因進行最佳猜測) ；培養更多的人從事這類工作。
