春

chūn夜yè喜xǐ雨yǔ

杜dù甫fǔ

好hǎo雨yǔ知zhī時shí節jié，

當dānɡ春chūn乃nǎi發fā生shēnɡ。

隨suí風fēnɡ潛qián入rù夜yè,

潤rùn物wù細xì無wú聲shēnɡ。

野yě徑jìnɡ雲yún俱jù黑hēi，

江jiānɡ船chuán火huǒ獨dú明mínɡ。

曉xiǎo看kàn紅hónɡ濕shī處chù，

花huā重zhònɡ錦jǐn官ɡuān城chénɡ

Happy Rain on a SpringNight

Du Fu

Good rain knows its time right,

It will fall when comes spring.

With wind it steals in night;

Mute, it wets everything.

Over wild lanes dark cloud spreads;

In boat a lantern looms.

Dawn sees saturated reds;

The town』s heavy with blooms.

About Penny

Penny has been teaching Chinese to foreigners for more than seven years. Her students have come from places such as: Russia, Poland, England, Canada, South Africa, America, and South America. They are beyond satisfied with her teaching and some of them have obtained excellent results on the HSK test. She has a strong interest in spreading Chinese to speakers of other languages. She has a Masters Degree on Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.
