Lion and mouse
Once upon a time there was a great big lion and a tiny little mouse.
很久以前，有一隻大獅子和小老鼠。
One day the little mouse was looking for some food when she saw the lion lying under the tree.
一天，小老鼠正在尋找食物的時候，她看到在樹底下有一隻獅子。
The lion open one eye and saw the little mouse.
獅子睜開一隻眼睛然後看見了小老鼠。
He caught the little mouse in his paw.
他用爪子抓住小老鼠。
「Please do not hurt me,Mr lion,」the little mouse said,」I may be able to help you .」
「請不要傷害我，獅子先生，」小老鼠說，「我能幫助你」。
The lion laughed and laughed but he let the mouse go.
獅子大笑。但還是讓小老鼠走了。
「You are too little 「,he said,」you can』t help me」 .
「你太小了，」他說，「你不能幫助我」
But the little mouse squeaked,「I can help you.」
這個小老鼠吱吱叫，說，「我能幫助你。」
Sometime later the lion was caught in a trap.
不久獅子落入了陷阱。
「Help,help」roared the lion.
「救命，救命」獅子大喊。
A monkey heard the lion roaring,
猴子聽到獅子的聲音，
He saw the lion in the trap and he said,「I can help you」.
他看見陷阱里的獅子，然後說「我能幫助你」。
The monkey tried and tried to help the lion.
猴子努力地想要幫助獅子。
He scratched and scratched at the rope but he could not get the lion out of the trap.
他努力地想要刮斷繩子，但是無法幫助獅子逃出陷阱。
「Help,help」roared the lion.
「救命，救命」獅子大喊。
A snake heard the lion roaring,
蛇聽見獅子的聲音，
She saw the lion in the trap and she hissed,「I can help you」.
她看見陷阱里的獅子然後她發出斯斯聲，說」「我能幫助你」
She tugged and tugged at the rope but she could not get the lion out of the trap.
她拖拽繩子，但是她無法幫助獅子從陷阱逃脫。
「Help,help」roared the lion.
「救命，救命」獅子大喊。
He saw the lion in the trap and he trumpeted.
他看見陷阱里的獅子然後他捲起了鼻子。
「I can help you.」
我能幫助你
The elephant tried and tried to help the lion.
大象努力的幫助獅子。
He pulled and pulled at the ropes but he could not get the lion out of the trap.
他努力地拉著繩子，但是獅子還是無法從陷阱逃脫。
「Help,help」roared the lion.「
救命，救命」獅子大喊。
The little mouse heard the lion roaring,
小老鼠聽見獅子的喊聲。
She saw the lion and she squeaked,「I can help you.」
她看見獅子然後她說，我能幫助你。
The little mouse gnawed and gnawed at the ropes.
這個小老鼠努力地咬著繩子。
Her sharp teeth cut through the rope and at last the lion was free.
她鋒利的牙齒咬斷了繩子，最終獅子獲救了。
You may be little but you can help.
你也許很小但是你能幫上忙。
And the little mouse squeaked and said ,
小老鼠吱吱叫然後說，
」Yes,I can.」
是的，我可以。
「I can help you.
