《大翻轉》是一部紀錄片，記錄了一些角色互換的家庭，在這些家庭里，父母的傳統角色互換，母親賺錢養家，父親照顧家庭和孩子們。 18個多月里，《大翻轉》輾轉于波特蘭，西雅圖，華盛頓特區和納什維爾，跟隨記錄了四個家庭的生活。在紀錄片中我們看到父母努力養育孩子和追求自己的職業生涯的同時所帶來的勝利和挑戰。

導演簡介：

Izzy Chan

Izzy在香港和新加坡長大，8年級時開始寫作和指導舞台劇。她在南加州大學電影藝術學院的高級電影項目中的電影在世界各地的電影節上放映。作為人類行為，社會趨勢和大眾文化方面的戰略家和研究人員，Izzy在廣告領域獲得了成功。她曾合作過的品牌包括蘋果，谷歌，耐克，奧克利和維薩。 Izzy的個人努力使她「偶然」成為家庭的主要經濟來源，這段經歷點燃了她製作紀錄片《大翻轉》的火花。《大翻轉》使Izzy有機會把她在觀眾調查方面的專業知識和她對電影製作的熱情結合起來。

The Big Flip is a documentarythat explores the rise of 「flipped」 families, where traditional gender roles are reversed whenmothers earn the money and fathers take care of home and kids. Over 18 months, The Big Flip follows the lives of four such families in Portland,Seattle, Washington, D.C. and Nashville. We see the triumphs and challenges that accompany men and women in theireffort to simultaneously parent and pursue their professional careers.

Director Bio:

Izzy Chan

Brought up in Hong Kong andSingapore, Izzy started writing and directing stage plays since Form 2 (U.S.grade 8). Her senior film project from University of Southern California』sSchool of Cinematic Arts was screened at film festivals around the world. Izzybuilt a successful career in advertising as a strategist and researcher inhuman behavior, social trends and popular culture. Brands she has worked withinclude Apple, Google, Nike, Oakley and Visa. Izzy』s personal struggle as an「accidental」 breadwinner wife is the spark that led to the making of thedocumentary. The Big Flip allows Izzy to marry her expertise in audienceresearch to her passion for filmmaking.

This program will be conducted in English with Chineseinterpretation.
