2016年2月，都江堰市代表團赴美國菲尼克斯開展友城交流和項目洽談。都江堰市代表團先後拜訪菲尼克斯市長等官員，參加了2016年美國菲尼克斯「大中華文化周」系列活動、舉辦了「中國成都·美國菲尼克斯締結友好城市30周年」紀念圖片展暨「成都·都江堰城市魅力圖片展」。

On Feb., 2016, Dujiangyandelegationwent to Phoenix for sister-city exchanges and project negotiation. Dujiangyan delegation successively visited mayor and other officials of Phoenix, participated in a series of activities of『Greater China Culture Week』, and held photo exhibitions of commemorating the 30thanniversary of establishing sister-city relationship and showing the charm of Dujiangyan City.

2017年1月，都江堰市代表團再訪菲尼克斯市，商談我市與菲尼克斯市開展教育文化交流事宜並出席了2016 世界燈展閉幕式。
