Candelaria. Bogota, Colombia.

On the road again. Over the next few weeks, I"ll be posting photos of my current travels in south America, mostly in Peru and Bolivia. On the way to Peru, though, I had the nice little privilege of having a long layover in Bogota, Colombia, where I ventured out from the airport into the beautiful district of Candelaria.

Raining upon arriving, I wandered the streets at 8am hoping not to get me or my camera too wet, but luckily those wet skies made for some dramatic clouds as I ventured in the square.

坎德拉里亞。波哥大，哥倫比亞。

再次上路，在接下來的幾周，我將記錄在南美洲的旅行，主要在秘魯和玻利維亞。在去秘魯的路上，剛好在哥倫比亞波哥大轉機時間很長，所以我決定離開機場到美麗的坎德拉里亞去探險。

抵達的時候還在下雨，早上8點我在街道上徘徊，希望我和相機不要被雨淋透，但幸運的是，這樣的天空造就了一些戲劇性的雲朵。

Pigeon Party. Bogota, Colombia.

As I approach the Cathedral, the pigeons that lounge with the square sense my approaching awesomeness and are frightened off by it. Either that, or they, like most of humanity, wish to have absolutely no association with this loser. Either way, the result is the same: the pigeons scatter before me, many taking flight, as I come near. Not to let a moment slip by, I take photos of them as they flee, immortalizing their brief but magnificent flight for all time, or at least until something goes wrong with my hard drives.

當我走近大教堂時，與廣場休息的鴿子感受到我漸漸逼近的迷人風度，被嚇跑了。或者是，他們像大多數人類一樣，都希望與這個失敗者保持距離。無論為何，結果都是一樣的：鴿子在我面前散去，在我靠近時飛走。不要錯失機會，在他們飛離時候我抓起相機拍攝他們的照片，記錄他們短暫而宏偉的飛行，或者保持在我的硬碟出現問題之前。

Colorful Candelaria. Bogota, Colombia.

Candelaria"s colorful streets are made for meandering. Up and down these narrow streets, my feet would carry me into discovering new colorful sights and smells that waft from the many restaurants and cafes that are sprinkled throughout the neighborhood.

In this early, gray morning, there were few others on these wet streets, giving me the chance to feel like the city mostly lay there for me to explore.

坎德拉里亞色彩繽紛的街道是為了蜿蜒曲折而建造。在這些狹窄的街道上，沿著這條狹窄的街道，雙腳引領我去發現餐廳和咖啡館散發出來的色彩斑斕的景色和氣味。

在這個灰暗的清晨，潮濕的街道上沒有其他人，給我機會去獨享整個城市。
