Dongpo Park 東坡公園

在我的記憶中，常州的眾多公園裡，變化不大的就屬東坡公園了，不信的話有照片為證。

In my memory, most of parks in Changzhou have changed so much, except Dongpo Park. These photos prove my words.

這幾張照片拍攝的具體時間約1986年左右，沒錯，照片中小孩就是我！近三十年了，除了季節變幻，東坡公園的景緻完全沒有變化。

These photos are taken around 1986. Yes! It』s me in the picture! In the last thirty years, there is no change in the Dongpo Park excepting of season changes.

小時候，東坡公園是離我家最近的公園，所以父母經常帶我去玩，當時需要門票，幾角或幾元？忘了。只記得人們喚它作艤舟亭，艤即指船靠岸的意思。可我一直以為是「一舟亭」，認字後才發覺此「艤」非彼「一」。東坡公園其實是一座名勝古迹與自然風光相結合的江南園林，艤舟亭是園內的內的一座亭子，北宋大文豪蘇東坡來常州時泊舟登岸處，又在常州終老，後人建園紀念。

When I was a child, Dongpo Park was the nearest park to my home.MY parents often took me to play. I already forgot how many ticket fees cost at that time. Just remember that people call it Yizhou Pavilion. Yi means moor. I always thought the meaning of Yizhou is one boat before I know how to read. Actually "Yi" means 「stop the boat to the river」 in Chinese. Dongpo park is a Jiangnan garden that combine the natural scenery and places of historic . Yizhou Pavilion is a pavilion inside the Dongpo Park In the Northern Song Dynasty, the famous writer Su Dongpo came to Changzhou and landing the boat there.He spent his remaining years till death in Changzhou. People built this memorial park later.

每次在園裡，媽媽都會拉著我的手奔上「山」頂，那座山現在看來很小，只能稱作坡了，「山」頂的艤舟亭里，有人坐著納涼，休息。山腳下，有一池子，父母說那是洗硯池，小學時習國畫，所以我當時一直有個疑問，要練多少字費多少墨才能將這一池水給染黑。現在公園練書法的老人，只需蘸水就能寫出好字，古人要是活在當代，一定佩服他們的智慧。

Every time my mother hold my hand and ran on the mountain top. The mountain is small like a slope. On the mountain top, people enjoy the cool and rest. At the foot of the mountain, there is a pond. My parents told me it was inks tone washing Pool .I were learning Chinese painting in primary school. So I wonder if want to change the pool of water to black, how many words need to practice and how much ink used ? The old people practice calligraphy in the park now by dipping water. If the ancient people live in the present time, they must admire their wisdom.

山腳下還有一座小型園林，太湖石連成一片，錯落有致，還有一個小山洞。在那裡，我和小夥伴們曾經在草坪上野餐，在山洞捉迷藏。

At the foot of the mountain, there is a small garden. The Taihu stone is joined together, and there is a small cave. There, my friends and I had a picnic on the lawn and hide and seek in the cave.

往東走，穿過石橋就到了半月島，在空中俯瞰，小島像半彎新月所以得名。半月島相對來說更加安靜，植被也保存的更加好。北側有一座橋名為水門橋，我媽媽小時候住過的地方就在這附近，臨河而居的他們，到每年河水上漲時，就能在家裡抓小魚小蟹。寫到這，又想到我的外公，每年，他會來東坡公園看牡丹花展，可是，他已經離開了我們。

Walking eastward, through the stone bridge. There is Half Moon Island. Overlooking the air, the island is named as the half curved crescent moon. Half Moon Island is quiet, and the vegetation is better preserved. There is a bridge on the north side called the Watergate bridge, where my mother lived when she was a child. She and her family live near the river. Every year when the river rises, they catch small fish and crab at home. I am thinking of my Grandpa. Every year, he comes to see the peony flower show in Dongpo Park. But he has left us in past years.

我長大了，有了自己的孩子，帶著孩子來東坡公園，他不再喜歡爬小山，也對捉迷藏沒興趣，他只是問這個公園裡有沒有遊樂場。這個還真沒有。最近幾年，東坡公園裡有古運河水上游，倒是能引起他的興趣，在古色古香的船里慢悠悠的沿著水路感受我的家鄉，也是他的家鄉，別有一番味道。

I grew up and brought my own children to Dongpo park .He no longer liked climbing hills. He was not interested in hide and seek. He just asked if there was a playground in the park. I don』t think so ! In recent years, There is canal sightseeing Boat , and it can arouse his interest. To feels my hometown slowly along the waterway in the antique boat, and is also his hometown.

讓他站在我當年的位置拍張照，是不是完全沒有違和感。

Let him stand in my position to take a picture is total harmonious.

好了，收起相機離開這，我要帶著娃去逛逛常州的其它公園了，再見，我的童年。
