I hope so. I"ve always liked kemba, but he gets pretty much 0 attention because he"s always been on awful teams and he plays in a smaller market. People think Lillard doesn"t get enough attention, but with kemba it"s worse imo.

He"s an expiring next year and his salary will be difficult to match for anybody you think you"d want for him.
Just remember the Boogie and Paul George trades. Pacers got lucky with Oladipo so in hindsight it looks like a really good trade, but you won"t be happy when you get a smaller haul for Kemba lol.

No matter how much you value defense, I cannot and will not ever understand having the #2 overall pick and drafting a basketball player who doesn"t know how to shoot a basketball. Like, literally doesn"t know how to shoot. I could teach someone better shooting form in an afternoon. This goes double when offensive firepower was the #1 thing the team was lacking at the time.

If he"d evolved into a Pippen-light on defense and could get to the basket reliably, then it"s maybe justified. But he"s honestly not even that good of a perimeter defender and he"s not athletic enough to be an elite slasher.
