分娩後六個小時內——肌膚接觸
?與寶寶保持肌膚接觸並溫柔地鼓勵他吸吮乳汁。
?如果生產中使用過藥物——分娩後的兩個小時內用手擠出初乳。六個小時後——開始有規律地手擠奶。
?繼續與寶寶保持肌膚接觸。
?擠一點奶在乳頭上來引導寶寶吸吮。
?用手把初乳擠到勺子里喂寶寶，2-3小時一次，晚上則在你或寶寶醒來時喂他。
?把乳汁擠出與喂寶寶一樣重要。當奶量增加——用手或者吸奶器把奶擠出來，用乳頭罩、手指或者奶瓶協助餵養。
?盡量保持肌膚接觸，半躺或抱著寶寶。
?每24小時至少吸8到10次奶（晚上至少一次），結束時再手擠奶。在吸奶前和/或吸奶過程中按摩胸部，並在吸奶後用手擠奶。
?考慮使用乳頭罩幫助寶寶吸奶。
?當乳汁越來越多時，用手指或者奶瓶協助餵養。分娩後的一周——耐心、自信、尋求幫助。

Feeding the Non-Latching Baby:
One Possible Approach
Birth to 6 hours—skin contact
?Keep the baby skin-to-skin and gently encourage him to breastfeed.
?If birth was medicated—hand-express colostrum byend of ?rst two hours.By about 6 hours—begin regular hand expression
?Continue keeping the baby in skin-to-skin contactwith you.
?Express drops of milk on your nipple to encourage him to latch on.
?Hand express colostrum into a spoon, spoon-feedbaby every 2–3hours and when either of you wakes at night.
?Removing milk from your breasts is as importantas feeding the baby.As milk volume increases—hand-express or pump, use nipple shield, ?nger-feedor bottle
?Continue as much skin-to-skin contact, laid-back,and holding as possible.
?Pump at least 8–10 times in 24 hours (includingat least once at night) ?nishing with hand expression. Massage before and/or during pumping, hand express afterward.
?Consider a nipple shield to help the baby latch.
?With increased milk volume, ?nger-feeding or abottle may work.By the end of the ?rst week—help, patience, con?dence
?Continue skin-to-skin/holding as much as possible.
?Express at least 8–10 times per 24 hours,tapering off as baby begins to nurse.
?You may want to express extra and store in thefridge to be a feeding or two ahead. Adding a couple of extra pumping sessions foraday or two will help.
?Stay in touch with your Leader or other breastfeeding support.
Babies sometimes take weeks to breastfeed well. Keep your supply going.
