今天講breeze 的幾種口語用法

1. a breeze 輕鬆的事；輕而易舉的事 （=a piece of cake ）

Don』t think that learning Chinese will be a breeze.不要以為學漢語是件輕鬆的事。

I『d thought making a kite must be a breeze. But it turned out that it"s hard work.我原以為做風箏很簡單，但結果卻是非常難。

2. breeze through sth. 輕鬆地做...，輕鬆地完成...（為動詞短語）

例子：

He breezed through the exam.他很順利地通過了考試。

Amy breezed through the task. Amy輕鬆地完成了任務。

3. shoot the breeze 閑聊，侃大山 （=have a chitchat）

英語釋意：to shoot the breeze means to talk about something unimportant in a casual way

例子：

Ben and I were sitting in the cafe, shooting the breeze.

卡爾和我坐在咖啡廳里，閑聊。

It was raining so hard last night I just stayed in the dorm to sit around and shoot the breeze with a couple of friends. 昨晚上雨下得好大呀，所以我就呆在宿舍里和幾個朋友一起聊天。
