Yeah I don"t think people have realized yet how insanely talented the Sixers are. When Embiid is healthy he is a top 10 most impactful player in the NBA. Simmons is already an all star caliber player.

Talent generally trumps inexperience for elite level talent. Duncan, Shaq, Lebron, Wade etc broke through very quickly in the playoffs.

This is also what makes the process a bit different from the tank commanders this year, Hinkie stockpiled picks and knew that one hit wasn"t enough, you"d need 2+, which also led to taking players you knew wouldn"t play for a year or more (Saric, Simmons, Embiid).
