什麼是師大英語吧？
What is CEP?
師大英語吧是一個全新的英語角的升級版，在這裡你不僅可以享受到全英文的聊天環境，而且可以分享到最有效的口語訓練方法。這裡彙集了來自各個學院的英語愛好者，是課後練習英語口語的聖地。
College English Pub, known by the acronym CEP, is a brandnew upgraded variant of traditional English Corner, in which students can induldge themselves in conversations where only English is used and handy tips to improve their spoken English will be shared. CEP is a holy place where English learners gather together after class.
活動內容
Activity Design
一. 話題選擇 Pool of Topics
在傳統的英語角，口語話題主要局限於日常生活經驗，如天氣、食物、旅行、校園生活等，且信息的交流碎片化。CEP將引入托福、雅思的口語題庫，將聊天的話題進行前所未有擴充，涉及校園生活、時事政治、娛樂八卦、影視音樂、學術研究等，話題的可聊性、趣味性將大大提升。
Traditionally, conversations were disjointed and generally confined to a small range of topics including weather, food, travel and campus life. However, there will be a remarkable extension of speaking topics in CEP with the introduction of IELTS&TOEFL Speaking Topics, which cover campus life, political news, entertainment gossips, films, music, academic researches etc. Our conversation will be a lot more meaningful and intriguing.
二. 全面互動 Sufficient Interactions
在傳統的英語角，同學們往往只跟位置相鄰的同學聊天，這樣就形成了一個個聊天小組，各聊各的，互動不足。CEP將打破這種局部互動的聊天方式，讓在場同學共同參與到聊天中來。
In the past, students merely communicate with those in close proximity at the English corner. Chatting groups are formed naturally based on proximity and there were barely any interactions between different chatting groups. However, CEP is totally different and there will be sufficient interactions among all students.
三. 現場督導 In-time Supervision&Instructions
在傳統英語角，同學們各聊各的，沒有人監督，也沒有人對聊天質量進行評估，但是CEP現場將會有老師負責收集同學們在聊天過程中出現的問題，並現場進行針對性地講解。
Traditionally, students talked freely and randomly with no one to give them any comments, evaluation and instructions. Conversely, there will be teachers with expertise responsible for collecting all the mistakes students might make and problems they may encounter and giving them expert commentaries and guidance.
四. 技巧分享 The Sharing of Skills
在每次活動過程中，將會評選出「最佳聊友」，並邀請其為大家分享其口語練習的經驗，共同進步。
Each time, a Best Talker will be elected and invited to share with us his experience of practicing oral English so that we can progress together.
五. 信息共享 The Sharing of Information
CEP不僅是一個創新的口語練習平台，也是一個思想聚會，我們會不定期邀請來自社會各界優秀的語言學習者、教學者、工作者為大家分享其學習和工作的經驗，受邀人員包括英語老師、筆譯及口譯人員等。
CEP will be more than just a platform where students can improve their English speaking skills, but also anIdea Meetingas well. Occasionally, we will invite successful language learners, educators and employees to share with us their learning and working experience, for example, English teachers, translators and interpretors etc.

師大英語吧是由計算機科學學院行政助理鄧宇組織創立的英語學習社團，旨在為師大學子提供免費的、開放的英語口語訓練平台。
Founded by Dengyu, the college administrative assistant of the College of Computer Science, CEP is a brandnew society which is a free and open platform where students in Sichuan Normal University could improve their English Speaking skills.

為了確保活動順利進行，主辦方特意邀請到易學英語CEO Damon叔叔、成都實驗外國語學校國際部托福雅思口語老師Chris前來助陣，為活動提供「技術支持」！
To ensure everything goes smoothly, we invited Damon Salvatore(the CEO of EasyEnglish) and Chris(IELTS&TOEFL speaking teacher in the international department of Chengdu Experimental Foreign Language School) to provide us with expert help!

易學英語教育諮詢有限公司CEO, 中級口譯，曾在成都實驗外國語學校國際部任托福雅思口語、寫作老師，也曾服役於西南交通大學利茲學院。
Damon Salvatore is the CEO of EasyEnglish Educational Consultant Co. Ltd. and an intermediate interpretor. He used to teach IELTS&TOEFL Speaking and Writing in the international department of Chengdu Experimental Foreign Language School and Leeds College of Southwest Jiaotong University.

來自密歇根州的老美，托福116分，成都市實驗外國語學院國際部口語老師。
From the state of Michigan of the United States, scoring 116 in TOEFL Test, teaching TOEFL/IELTS Speaking in the International Department of Chengdu Experimental Foreign Language School.

師大英語吧首場活動將於2018年4月18日晚7：00－9：00在四川師範大學圖書館龍吟堂舉行。
The first session of CEP is scheduled to be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on April 18th, 2018 at Long Yin Tang on the second floor of the Library in Sichuan Normal University.
