I actually saw all of them back to back and I thought Negative Space was going to win easily. Garden Party was well done and their use of sound and music was very smart, but I didn"t think it reached the same level.

Lou looked very nice, but I didn"t think the storyboard overall merited an award, especially having seen other Pixar short films and knowing they can do better.

Revolting Rhymes was much drier and not my thing but I can see why someone would like it.

Garden Party and Negative Space were my favorites, Dear Basketball I thought was the worst of all of them except maybe Lou. Art style was pretty cool but absolutely devoid of content. It was even worse than some of the honorable mentions like Lost Property Office imo.

I don"t play basketball much anymore, however. But man, my body feels it. I also started my first official job 31 years ago when I was 12. Got my first real paycheck 28 years ago.
