"Invisible poverty-stricken population" refers to people whoseconsumption exceeds their income.

Invisible poverty-stricken people usually live a quality life and spend a lot of money on food, clothing, gym, spas and other daily expenses, which leaves them little or no money on their bank accounts.

Eating soil

a common term in China for being so poor you could only afford dirt for meals.

They have spent money they didn"t have.

NOUN

millennial/m??l?ni?l/ 千禧一代

A person reaching young adulthood in the early 21st century.

Whether it"s enjoying the newest restaurants, wearing the latest fashion, or taking expensive vacations, the fear of falling behind their friends is forcing young people to pile up thousands of dollars in bills.

FOMO(fear of miss out)。
