多數人不敢說自己會唱歌，就怕唱出來被別人嘲笑。

但也有人，聲音並非天籟，卻敢組樂隊。

這支樂隊叫Pink Floyd，他們的主唱嗓音虛弱，難稱有特點，比起那些讓人開口跪的樂隊諸如Queen、U2等，完全處於下風。

然而Pink Floyd的江湖地位卻比後者高出不少。雖沒有完美的嗓音，他們有自己的音樂。

首先，歌詞滿是對時間等問題的思考，頗具哲學趣味；其次，大膽使用各種效果音，甚至曾讓一隻狗隨著音樂節奏吠叫；還有，他們在製作過程中，大量使用合聲。

歌詞與效果音讓他們的音樂有了更多表達，同時，合聲與效果音相輔相成，也讓他們開創了一種新的音樂風格。

今天的「Time」，很能體現他們的特點。

「Time」來自Pink Floyd在1973年推出的「The Dark Side of the Moon」，是他們最成功一張專輯。

老實說，第一次聽「Time」，會被它漫長且充滿各種奇怪聲效的前奏，搞得有些不耐煩。直到前奏結束，才開始對這首歌有些感覺。

但是，只有聽過第一遍之後再聽一遍，才能領會前奏的作用絕不僅是標新立異，而是這首歌的一種表達方式。

一首歌值得聽第二遍的不多，聽的次數越多越喜歡的更是鳳毛麟角，這首「Time」就是其中之一。

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day.

You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.

Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town.

Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain.

You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.

No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it"s sinking.

Racing around to come up behind you again.

The sun is the same in a relative way but you"re older,

Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time.

Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

The time is gone, the song is over,

Thought I"d something more to say.

I like to be here, but I can"t.

When I come home already tired.
