In 1995, the United Nations Educational, scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was set up as the world reading day in April 23rd - the purpose of which is to make "reading an indispensable part of people"s life", which is also an important moment for advocating and promoting the reading of the people.
April 23, 2018 is the twenty-third world reading day.
1995年聯合國教科文組織於將4月23日設置為世界讀書日
其主旨是讓「讀書成為人們生活不可或缺的一部分」，這一天也成為倡導和推動全民閱讀的重要時刻。
2018年4月23日，是第二十三個世界讀書日。
