光緒元寶是大清光緒年流轉大面值錢銀之首，是中國第一批引入海外技術的印發流轉錢銀，關於現在也蘊藏了必定歷史意義。光緒元寶共有十九個省局鍛造，除基地戶部，本地省所鑄銅元，皆在其正面上緣鐫寫省名。

光緒元寶主要始於光緒二十六年（1900）至光緒三十一年（1905）。這一時期各地造幣均有光緒元寶字樣。總廠造幣在正面左右分列「戶部」二字，各地均在正面上緣或左右分列省名及地名，以示區別。這一時期各廠局各盡所能，自行設計，出現了一大批具有各地特點的龍圖、花式，是銅元品種最多、圖案最豐富、版式最繁雜的時期。 Guangxu Yuanbao mainly began in Guangxu twenty-six years (1900) to Guangxu thirty-one years (1905). 以上數據源自本人長期在藝術品行業從業當中所總結出來的。但是這些並不是委託方的想法，作為委託方前期與公司合作按選擇的運作及合作方式，會向拍賣公司支付一定的前期服務費。正是因為這樣，作為每一個委託方實際上也是一個投資者，作為投資者都想有一個好結果，這個的確能理解。所以目前國內一些資質不全，實力較弱的拍賣公司及藝術品公司在沒有強大的買家群體及專業的運作團隊下，盲亂徵集。將好的藏品，高價位的藏品都視為是可以一定成交的藏品。錯，其實不然。正規的拍賣公司徵集藏品所關注的是藏品市場，並不是藏品的價位及好壞或者珍稀程度。市場指的是買家真正要買的，具有收藏及投資空間的藏品。作為一般小型公司根本無法把握這些，所以導致了很多委託方也就是賣方，與公司合作支付前期費用後，沒有獲得想要的結果。所以對公司產生了不好的看法，甚至認為公司騙了他們。

這些想法，作為從業多年的我，我十分可以理解，由於運作團的不專業對他人造成了損失。但是有一點我想說的事，不管是大公司還是小公司或者有經驗及沒有經驗的公司，他們初的想法是想將藏品運作出去也就是賣出去的，所以他們在操作過程當中同樣會付出很多的資金去宣傳及炒作每一件合作的藏品，這是對委託方必盡的義務。所以只能說他們不專業，不能說他們騙人，只能說明選擇沒選對。寫這個是希望每一位藏友正確看待拍賣行業。
