A Forever Promise 永遠的應許

啟示錄1:17-18；21:1-7

John was a disciple of Jesus. One day, Jesus came to him in a vision, shining like the sun. "Don"t be afraid," said Jesus. "I died. Now I live forever!"

約翰是耶穌的門徒。有一天，耶穌在異象中向他顯現，像太陽一樣發光。耶穌說：「不要懼怕！我曾經死過，現在我永遠活著！」

Then John saw a new heaven and a new earth, God"s promised newcreation. The first heaven and the first earth were gone and the sea with them! Next, John saw Cod"s Holy City, the new Jerusalem. It was coming down from heaven. It was beautiful, like a bride on her wedding day ready to meet her husband!

那時，約翰看見一個新天新地，是上帝所應許創造的新天地。原有的天地都廢去了，海也不再有了。然後，約翰看見上帝的聖城，就是新耶路撒冷，從天而降。她美麗無比，就像婚禮那天，裝扮好等候新郎到來的新娘。

Then John heard a loud voice coming from the throne of God saying," From now on, God will make His home among His people, and they will all live together." "In this new heaven and new earth, there won"t be any tears because no one will be in pain, and no one will die. Those things are gone, forever!"

約翰又聽見有大聲音從上帝的寶座上發出來，說：「從此，上帝要與他的子民同住，生活在一起。」「在新天新地里，再也沒有眼淚、痛苦和死亡。那些事都過去了，永遠不再有了！」

Then the voice from the throne said, "I am the Beginning and the End. If you are thirsty, come to Me, and I will give you the water of life." "My new world is for My children, those who are faithful to Me. I"m making all things new. It"s true. You can count on it."

又有聲音從寶座上傳來說：「我是開始，我是末了。你若口渴，就到我這裡來，我要將生命的水賜給你喝。」「這新造的天地是為我的兒女預備的，就是那些一心跟隨我的人。我要將一切更新。這話是真實可信的。」
