母親值多少錢？
母親是這個世界上最神聖的職位，這個職位不計薪酬，卻給這個世界創造了最大的價值。如果說每一個母親都是偉大的，那麼每一個職場母親一定是更偉大的。這周日是母親節，我們有幸採訪了Michael Page的高級顧問Jenny Wang，回顧她初為人母時，何以兼顧工作和家庭。
是什麼促使你轉做招聘呢？
What prompted your move into recruiting?
加入米高蒲志之前，我也是從事顧問工作。這份工作需要與客戶進行面對面的交流，這讓我意識到自己非常喜歡做與人打交道的工作。除此之外，我也想了解如何成為一名優秀的銷售人才，而招聘工作正好滿足了我的這些願望。
I was in the consulting business before joining Michael Page. It was a client-facing job which made me realise how much I liked working with people. I also wanted to learn how to become a successful sales person and recruiting was perfect for the direction I wanted to move towards.
請談談你的日常工作生活。
What is a typical day like for you?
我通常會先把女兒送到保姆那兒，再到辦公室來。上班時就一直忙著安排與客戶會面、與求職者約談，一天就這麼匆匆而過。當我意識到該下班的時候，就趕緊回家照顧我的孩子們（我還有個大女兒），陪她們度過一個溫馨歡快的晚上，最後哄她們睡覺。
I come in to the office after dropping off my newborn daughter with the nanny. After that, the day passes by in a whiz as I schedule client meetings and talk to candidates. Before I know it, it』s time to go home to my children (I also have an older daughter), spend some quality time with them and put them to bed.
產假結束後，回到工作崗位有什麼樣的感受？
Your maternity leave has ended and you are now back at work. How is it like to be back?
休產假很累，但也很有趣。休假期間，我有時間照看剛出生的小女兒，還能帶她姐姐去上音樂或者體操課。能有多一點時間與孩子們相處再好不過了，讓她們感受到她們的媽媽還是很有趣的，並能夠教導與鼓勵她們嘗試新事物。
Maternity leave has been tiring but fun. During my break, I had time to look after my newborn and also take her big sister to music/gym classes. It』s good to spend a lot of time with the kids and make them feel that mommy is fun and able to teach and encourage them to try new things.
雖然如此，回來工作我也感到很開心。能同時兼顧工作和家庭，這感覺很棒。尤其是公司也非常照顧你的話那就再好不過了。由於我需要先送女兒去保姆家再進公司，因此公司允許我採用靈活的工作時間。工作時間靈活一點對我而言是好事，也讓我更加珍惜能夠專註工作的有限時間。
But I am very happy to be back at work as well. It feels amazing when you can have both career and family. And it』s even better when the office environment is a supportive one. As I usually need to drop off my newborn before starting work, the company has allowed some flexibility on my work schedule. Having a flexible work schedule is good, but it makes me cherish the limited time I have in the office.
同事都非常支持我，也很諒解我作為媽媽的處境，如果我說到一些我女兒的事情，大家都會非常耐心地聽我講。
My colleagues are definitely supportive and very understanding about my mommy situation. They are also very nice and patient when I share obsessively about my children.
這份工作最讓你喜歡的地方是什麼？
What do you enjoy most about your job?
應該是能夠幫助公司發展業務，並且能夠提升自己的專業水準吧。我也非常喜歡現在靈活的工作時間，讓我可以兼顧家庭和工作。
Being able to help grow the business and develop professionally within the company. I also enjoy the level of flexibility that has allowed me to have both family and career.
對職場媽媽，你有什麼好建議？
What advice would you give to working mums?
享受當下。如果在公司，就好好享受工作，表現出自己的職業素養。如果在家，就扮演好母親的角色，努力照顧整個家。
Enjoy being where you are at the moment. If you』re at work, enjoy your work and being a professional. If you』re home, focus on being a mom and part of the family.
