第9篇：Hush-A-Bye Bunny

Rock-A-Bye Baby（又作Hush-A-Bye Baby）是著名的lullaby（搖籃曲），睡前晚安曲。本書的名字Hush-a-bye Bunny我給他譯作晚安兔。

讓我們一起來看看晚安兔睡前都幹什麼呢？

首先需要把玩具收起來，然後喝點熱牛奶，洗個澡，穿上睡衣……當然，少不了一個睡前故事，亦或是一個搖籃曲……

正文：

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

The end of the day.

It』s time to stop playing

And put toys away.

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

My sweet sleepyhead.

Warm milk and some supper,

It』s soon time for bed.

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

With soap on your nose.

Rub-a-dub, scrub-a-dub,

Down to your toes.

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

Now what shall we do?

I』ll wrap you up warmly and play peekaboo.

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

Pyjamas all ready.

First arms in, then legs in,

and snuggle with Teddy.

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

Then let』s share a book.

Just cuddle up close

And we』ll listen and look.

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

Let』s turn out the light.

Now hop into bed

And then let』s say goodnight.

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

My darling, don』t cry.

Let me rock-a-bye, hush-a-bye,

Tell mummy why.

Hush-a-bye Bunny,

Now tell me your fears.

I can hug away worries

And kiss away tears.

讀完以後，我虛心向Ben提問了下面幾個問題（我確實不知道），但是Ben都能一一解答，我跟著他又學了不少東西！

1. What』s the difference between 「rub」 and 「scrub」?

這是晚安兔在洗澡時用到的兩個詞。

2. How to play peekaboo?

這個遊戲我們在中國也有哦，哄孩子時也會常常做這個動作。

3. How to read 「pyjamas」?

我反正是讀錯了，幸虧Ben給我糾正過來了。

4. what』s the difference of 「snuggle」, 「cuddle」 and 「hug」?

最後一個問題我來試圖回答一下吧，snuggle是並排依偎著，cuddle是包圍著的（甚至蜷縮進去的）擁抱，hug就是一前一後的兩個人的擁抱。
