昨天，當我把《秋言物語》第七十二篇發在朋友圈之後，就有人問我說：「請教馬總，為什麼你在文章的結尾說『感恩緣起，感恩緣份，感恩修行路上讓我悟得真理的每一個人』？我的困惑是，你遇到的人當中一定不會都是善人吧？一定有傷害你的人和惡人吧？」就此問題，我在今天的《秋言物語》中回答：

When Iissuedthe72nd「Qiu Yan Wu Yu」through WeChat Moments, someone asked me,「Ms. Ma, why did you say at the end of your article that you』re grateful to the initiation of fate, to fate and to everyone that helps you comprehend truth on your way of cultivation!Ifeel confused as some people you encounter must not be kind-hearted.There』s must be someone who hurts you and some bad guys?」Iwill answer this question in today』s 「Qiu Yan Wu Yu」:

首先，感恩之心是我們每一個人都應該具備的道德水準，也是心地善良的行為標誌。問題的關鍵是感恩一切因緣，這一切包括好人、壞人、善人、惡人，一切眾生的因緣，我從心底感恩！

First of all, gratitude isamoral standard thatall ofus shouldsatisfy. It is also behavioral sign ofkindheart. The key to theissueis tofeelgratefultoallkarmas, includinggood people, bad guys,kind-heartedpeopleandevil people.Ifeelgratefulto the karmas of all peoplefrom the bottom of my heart.

我的今天，鮮花、掌聲、地位、榮譽，所有的成就都是眾緣聚合而成，這其中有善緣，也有惡緣；有眾多的好人，也有個別的壞人；有君子，也有小人。就人的主觀願望，都想廣結善緣，與好人交往，近君子遠小人，但現實中，我們有時卻事與願違地遇到惡緣、壞人和小人，怎麼辦呢？

All my achievements nowadays, includingflowers, applause, statusandhonor, result from theconvergenceof karmas of all people.Such karmas include both good ones and bad ones; there』remany good peoplebut also some bad guys; there』sgentlemanas well as base person.As far as individualsubjective desireis concerned, everyone wants tohave relationships and associatewith goodpeople and stay close to gentleman and away from base person, but things often go contrary to our wishes in reality.Sometimes we encounter bad karma, bad guys and base persons.Then whatshouldwe do?

惡緣、壞人和小人，都是我們前世今生種善因或種惡因的果報，所以我們常言道「來世報和現世報」。但怎樣的情況是來世報，怎樣的情況是現世報呢？告訴你，天網恢恢，疏而不失，不是不報，時機未到，時機到了自然會報，這才是真理之道。

All bad karma, bad guys and base persons are the retribution of good karma or bad karma we planted in our previous life and present life, therefore we often say「retribution in afterlife and retribution in this life.」But how do we distinguish between retribution in afterlife and retribution in this life?Heaven』s vengeance is slow but sure.Ifretributionis not forthcoming, it is because the time has not arrived yet; and when the time arrives, retributionwill fall upon correspondingpeople.This istheprincipleof truth.

真理之道，不是你信與不信的問題，這是人們對它的認知和認可的問題。認可的人，自然會從因上下功夫，種善因，絕對會得善果。不認可的人，隨性而行，在不知不覺中種下惡的種子，自然會天地報應，果報現前。這叫道法自然。

In terms of principle of truth, it』s concerned withpeople』s cognitionand recognition no matter youbelievetruth or not.Those people who recognize truth willnaturally work hardon cause and plant good karma, so theywill definitelygaingood results; however, those peoplewho don』t recognizetruthwillfollowtheirnature and plant evil seeds unknowingly, so theywillcertainly have their retribution falling upon them.Thisis called,「Tao follows nature」.

問題的關鍵是為什麼要感恩惡緣、壞人和小人？惡緣是我們前世今生自己造就的，來了我們欣然接受，以善良的方式對待，這個惡因就此了斷，將來就成了善緣，這叫轉惡為善。

The key to theissueis why we should be gratefulto bad karma,bad guys andbase person.Badkarmaismade by usin our previous life and this life.When it comes, we shouldaccept itwith pleasure, treat itin a good way, put an end tothisbad karma and it will turn into good karma in future.This is called「turning bad karma into good karma」.

壞人之所以被你遇到，有兩種情況，一是你的前因後果，二是你的願力感召。有人發願要成就一番事業，願力越大，磨難越大，想要做好，必經魔考。壞人的出現，是增長你的善心、智慧、德性和能力的機會。小人心存不善，現實中通常會找你的軟肋和漏洞，於是小人成了監督你的一雙眼睛，所以在小人的幫助下你會不斷完善。

You encounter bad guysin two kinds of cases, firstly your previouskarmaand consequential retribution, then your wish force andperception.Someone wishes to achievesuccess. Stronger wish brings in greater retribution.You have to undergone hardships before you make it.Bad guys provideopportunitiesforenhancingyour kindness, intelligence, virtue and ability.Base personsare not kind-hearted.Inreality theyoftenlook foryour soft ribs and loopholes, sobase personsbecome a pair of eyesthatsupervise you, soyouwill be perfectedcontinuously with thehelp ofbase persons.

因此，所有的成功都是眾緣的聚合，這時方可領略到在成功面前善惡同等、好壞無別，君子小人有別之行動、無別之成就。

所有因緣一併感恩！

無比真摯的感恩！

純真純善的感恩！

不夾雜任何私心雜念的感恩！

以成功者的胸懷感恩一切！

Therefore, all successes result from the convergence of karmas of all people. Good karma and bad karma are equal in front of success and there』s no difference between them. There』s difference between gentleman and base person in terms of behavior but not in aspect of achievement.

We shall feel gratitude to both good karma and bad karma!

Extremelysincere gratitude!

Pure andgoodgratitude!

Gratitude not mingledwithselfishness!

Gratitude withthe bosom ofwinner!
